As many Americans already know, the situation between Israel and the Middle East grows worse by the day. Radical religious groups such as ISIS/ISIL and the governments of some Middle Eastern countries (i.e. Iran) are persecuting the Jewish state. If anyone managed to watch the speech by Netanyahu to the American Congress, any input on the situation is greatly appreciated.

For the record, this thread is not meant for someone to take a stance based upon their religious views. It is for people to learn to speak at a neutral viewpoint, analyze a potential worldwide crisis, and discuss their position with others.

The Jewish state being persecuted is a reflection of extremism. ISIS and other terrorist groups have no reason to destroy Isreal but their faith, and we must stop them. However, Isreal is no saint and what they have done to Palestine is as bad as what they have suffered by far. And aferall, Israel isn't the only one suffering attacks, we must defend the other countries too.
