Trying to get a message out to a fellow dollar but don't have any contact with them outside of the site? Try this!

Kindly don't use this thread as a personal chat, and try to be sure whatever you have to say isn't something that belongs elsewhere.

Here are some examples for those that may be confused:
DO:

DON'T DO:

Please, no hate messages. If you've got to complain to someone, please do it tactfully. And try to be sure that any messages to everyone don't already have a place for them.

Use Ctrl-f to make finding messages directed towards yourself easier!

I just had to say something...I've been playing Skyward Sword for about 3 weeks. Currently heading to the Fire temple. ...I'm taking it slow ;) So...at this point, I can agree with you, it's a likable game. But no kidding, after my first several hours I was...disappointed doesn't even cover it... My opinion of it has improved greatly, particularly after completing the Skyview Temple, but it was so bad that I actually took the time to write a rant :D Hand-holding? It's more like guiding you with a leash! And Fi is a good deal more annoying than Navi! Not to mention the stamina gauge...with all those berries lying around (I got used to that part). But having Zelda not being a princess really set me off. I mean how can they demote the Princess of Hyrule to some chairman's daughter?? And what about all those side quests that you could get involved with right from the start? It feels like everything is a one line script, which takes a different (and unintriguing) direction at points... Like I said, I've come to 'ignore' things like this at this point, and some things I even kind of like. But now that I'm thinking about it again...dowsing? It was completely acceptable and appropriately used in twilight princess, but here it's just a nuisance having to constantly return c function to it's proper look. Anyhow, just wanted to give my opinion on it. Hope you're doing well!

I am a incurable procrastinator...one among many, it seems; but having someone else working nearby really helps me start and stay working for longer. Unfortunately, as my office space is my bedroom for the most part, I end up wasting a good amount of time. My thoughts are, if we had a group where we could do hangouts/skype calls/chats/etc while working, it might be a huge benefit to everyone (myself for sure). Some people find it a bit awkward (especially during video chat) though I don't; seeing someone working in their own space up in the corner of my screen really helps. Anyone that's interested, just mention it on the RTT(Random Thought Thread) in Random and we can go from there!

note: say 'study group' in your post so it can be found easier.

If you're going to just post to "everyone" I agree to go on the RTT. It's one thing if it's directed at a certain person, but it's another if you're spouting off every occurrence you have, directing it towards everyone.

This topic really just needs to die and you focus on the RTT no matter your intentions and thoughts on the matter.

Use this for messages to your fellow dollars who you have no contact with otherwise, or for announcements you'd like to inform all dollars members about. If this announcement warrants discussion, make sure to tell people where to go. The default 'discussion' thread is the Random Thought Thread (RTT) on thr Random board. See my example above and make finding things easier by suggesting a search term like I do here >>11 and here >>3.

I feel like this test period is equivalent to the Hidenburg.

Please don't bump this thread. The point has been made. Those posting are just using this as a general thread to talk about their days and say things that would better fit on the RTT or in their own thread. The "testing period" previously discussed has long since passed, and it's obvious that our concerns were well founded.
