at one of my old houses everyone in my family at different points in time saw an animal come into their room, different from our 3 pets, who were allready in the room with us, we later named it "shadowcat" and before we moved out we saw it 2 more times.

I don't really believe in the supernatural, I mean, where's the logic in any of it? supernatural Creatures, how do tey feed, and stay out of sight, and ghosts, I think our opinion on ghosts influence what we think they do, and think their doing it.

i'm more of a skeptic, i always attempt to find a logical explanation behind something. if i am unable to, i classify it as "supernatural"... at least until a point that there may be new evidence of its' scientific practicality/legitimacy, whether that point be sooner or later.

I like to keep an open mind about anything that is "supernatural",as I also know that most strange noises can be expanded.

A few years ago I was in bed sleeping and woke to what sounded like a woman singing one note like "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" but as I got up the sining got quieter and quieter then it stoped, and in the morning I ask if anyone els heard it and my brother said he did, and I know for a fact nothing in the house could of made that noise not even the boiler.

Even to this day I don't know what or where that sound came from.

i certainly do! i used to live in a house that was haunted.

i woke up one night to see what looked like to be the grim reaper walking across my mom and dads bedroom to the bathroom.(my room at the time was directly attached to my parents) and yeah it may just sound like someone went to the restroom in their bath robe but this..ghost lets say was completely black and utterly silent no scythe but just this aura of fear that had me hiding under my covers. Anywho, i went to check out if it went to the attic where my sister slept and lo and behold there was a miniature grim reaper sleeping next to her back to back and looking at me with these evil red eyes just staring they looked like red lights that never blinked. next morning my sister woke up with scratches on her back. tell me thats not weird/scary.

Well, I'm not Irish but I do believe in the banshee. A week before my grandpa died, we was mentioning how he kept being woken up at night by a horrible screech, like a woman's high pitch scream. I was look stuff up for class one day and I came across the information about a banshee and I remember my hairs standing up. Needless to say, I hope no one gets woken up by a screech.

I was about seven years old. I woke up in the middle of the night. I felt a draft from my closet which had a 1X1 ft. Covered hole that led up to an attic none of my family had seen inside. I could hear my brother snore in the next room and my parents downstairs. I couldnt move a muscle. I felt a presence and then fingernails running down my spine through my sheets. I'm not sure if this is supernatural or just me being a pussy but when ever I fall asleep with my closet open I wake up feeling like I was just being choked. And right before ( in my dream) I see a black hand and I hear voice that just sound so pure with anger and rage and then the hand chokes me

I do believe in some kinds of supernatural things. I think anything is possible when it comes to it, but at the moment, I'm limited to 'ghosts' (in a way). Of course, that's only because I have had experiences with something like them in the past.

I also believe in foresight, but I do have a scientific theory behind it, so I'm not sure that it's really considered supernatural.

Well...supernatural or not,i HAVE had some unexplainable expiriences,like this one time I was with a friend in my room,the lights where off nad we had this demon like mask hanging on the other side of the wall in front of us,then suddenly out of nowhere we heard a really loud sound inside my room and the mask fell,we panicked because of the sound and we turned on the lights,later on,i got the courage to investigate the surroundings of my room,so i got off of my bed,and noticed that a pair of pants were kssing from a top the hamper,then i noticed my clock was gone too and then,as i go to where the mask fell,i see every item there,together and me and my friend panic out of the room,he kept saying he didn't do it as i blamed he for giving me the scare of a lifetime and i didn't know what to believe,it did seem hard to believe that he was the one who did that,because he was next to me on my bed,it was pitch black,but i knew he was there,and i felt no moevement from him whatsoever,and he couldn't have been so lucky that he hit all that,with a pair of pants in the middle of the dark...and all he items were pretty far from each other too....

A spirit may have tried to get me when I was younger...
When I was around kindergarten age I had a sudden streak of horrific nightmares every night. Me and my family being impaled by spikes, everyone but me turning into monsters, my mother trying to kill me... These dreams came out of nowhere, I never watched a scary movie, never had any trauma, nothing. One day, I awoke after not having any dream, I was so relieved.
A few years later I had a strange indescribable dream, when I awoke, I saw a terrifying black monster trying to claw at me. It was similar to a bear, yet had an ethereal inky appearance to it. I had the feeling it was bound, but I was so terrified I fainted. I have experienced many minor encounters such as feelings of being watched since then.

my famaly has allways been strange hearing voices that arent there i mean in the end the unavirse is a strange place where ANYTHING is POSSABLE. my grandmother one day about 19 years ago was washing up dishs in her kitchan sink when this young girl about the age of 3 walked through the door of the kitchan it was'int someone she recognised and she didint let her into the house she was about to ask who she was but then she just dissapeard 5 years later and the famaly was visiting my gran my sister tricha wennt into the kitchan where my gran was washinng dishs she tuned around and got the shock the girl she saw 5 years before was standing right there same clothes same hair same eye colour. now i have never seen anything like that i thend not to think that just because i havent seen it dosent meen it cant or wort happen.

My belief is that all myths that science can't explain must have truth behind it in some way. It's as simple as that in my eyes.

But anyway, I havent seen anything as far as ghosts, but during the Perseids meteor shower over the summer I saw a UFO with three other friends.
We were in a cornfield in the county. About 150 Meters to our right was a collection of trees. A small forest if you will. Suddenly, we noticed a spotlight type light shining on us. we looked over, and it looked like a collection of stadium lights rising over the trees. They immediately shut off, and what seemed to be one small led light remained on in the middle. It then shot straight upward. Me and my friends were paralyzed in fear and astonishment.

THEN proceeded to partake of Mary Jane, to ease our nerves.

Everyone is always like "you were high" or "the weed made you hallucinate"

One, if anything made us hallucinate, it was the McDonald's we had been eating
Two, the weed was still in the bag and in my friends backpack at this point. It was literally 10 minutes after we had arrived.

I believe that the supernatural is real. I have had personal experiences with most kinds of it. Just not UFO's or something, but spirits, demons, and a slight psychic ability. Plus, I'm able to change the course of my future with thoughts, strangely, by thinking the opposite way...

I've seen supernatural things. some of then terrifying, some even friendly. If i listed all of them, i'd reach some sort of text limit before i was done. So i'll be brief.
I've seen a demon. Me and my sister lived in the same room at the time, so we made salt lines around our beds. when we came home from school, (it couldn't touch the salt directly), it had used a pencil to break the line. I had also heard it beating at the walls, seen it move things, and seen its form. I've felt it make hovering cold spots in the middle of summer. It is tall and dark, like a shadow that became solid, and has a deep gravelly voice.
I have also spoken with something that i still can't quite explain. He didn't exist in a corporeal sense, but he was my best friend at a time when i had no human friends. I still remember the way he would sit beside me, the eerie feeling that became so familiar, the quaint conversations, learning his language before then...
i loved living in a world of magic.
i've lost the ability, now, to sense them. but it still comes back every once in awhile, in glimmers and sparks. i believe in the supernatural, and i honestly can't see how anyone could not. i know i'm probably a bit of an anomaly, but i figured this would be interesting to you. that's my story

I totally believe in supernatural stuff like this, I remember one time I was at my friend's house and everyone was asleep except me, So I was alone in the dark on Tumblr or something, and their cat came in and started meowing in thin air, It really tripped me out. Another time at the same house me and her were up and I was on the computer. I felt some sort of pressure on my shoulder like someone was leaning down on me to see what I was doing on the monitor. I didn't do anything because I thought it was just my friend, But when I turned she was half way across the room ! After I told her and she said that her great grandmother passed in that house a few decades ago. So now I'm interesting and creeped out every time I go there !

I've had many experiences with ghosts.
The first experience I had, I was in my old house (which was empty, no furniture, nothin.) by my self playing in the living room with my toys while my parents worked outside near the shop when i started hearing loud foot prints like some man in work boots. I called out for my step dad thinking it was him but got no reply. So I got up and started walking around looking for my parents. Only I couldn't find them. So I went back to the living room and looked out the window to see both my parents working on the car. I pushed it aside and sat back down, soon the foot steps started again in the kitchen. I moved to the kitchen thinking maybe it was someone looking to buy the house only no one was in there. The foot steps stopped and every cabinet and drawer flew open when I entered the kitchen. So of course I screamed and left.

My second experience, I was at my cousins house. All three of us were in Micheal's (the youngest's) room cleaning so we could go to the pool if we got it clean before the timer went off (which was set on-top of the TV on the other side of his room away from us) I was cleaning near the windows, my cousin Marina cleaning he closet and Micheal making the bed when the timer flew across the room and hit Marina in the head. It couldn't have been her mom; she was in the shower, and her dad at work. (all pets outside)

I do, I haven't actually had an experience myself but my grandmother has. She has plenty of stories about when she was a kid, her parents moved around a lot. Also she's had a lot of sadness in her life (and her mother as well) so I guess it just follows her or something. I'm not really sure, but her life was just filled with death...

Personally I am a skeptic. In my opinion, what "supernatural" is to me is well... "super" and "natural" meaning that any such events are still "natural" and have some explanation, but what makes it "super" is its complexity by a singular or multiple causes along with imagination that complicates in going about an explanation.

In other words, supernatural to me means a mysterious challenge.

I believe in it, but I also have logical reasoning behind my belief. When you break things down, even to the smallest particle or adam. It is all energy. Take into account the laws of physics. A thing that is in motion will stay in motion. The energy that we have within us can't simply vanish in the instant of death. It stays, however I do not know if it slowly evaporates with time, or if it stays for eternity.

I have another reason behind my belief however. When someone sees something they immediately recognize it with their known knowledge that they have learned over time. The problem with this is, when we see things that we don't know or can't comprehend. We dismiss it as a trick of the light or as us merely "Seeing things."

Religions are sort of like magic right? I once asked my mom if there was really such things as ghosts and gods. She told me that religious beliefs are things that have been passed on for thousands of years. If they don't exist, how can it last for so many decades and yet people still continue to believe them? Surely there's some people out there who have seen them and are continuing such beliefs. I think it makes sense. Right?

That's so weird. First off i do belive in many things supernatural, but i had a really freaky experience just this morning. I got up to go to the bathroom and it was pitchblack. I didn't turn any lights on figuring i didn't need them w/e. Right before i got to the bathroom i could just barely make out what looked like a kid hiding his face, crying i thought maybe scared. This is weird because there shouldn't be anyone here under age 19. So i reached out to pat this kid on his head and ask what was wrong and my hand just went through. Kinda freaked me but i did my thing and went back to bed. Then i opened my eyes and saw... something, i couldn't see details really but it was about 4 ft tallish and it looked kind of like someone shifting their weight back and forth from foot to foot just watching. Me being wiccan immediatly sent out my thoughts saying things like all evil be banished. And as soon as i did it seemed to get closer to me so i grabbed my phone and booked it up stairs. I've seen ghosts before but this really spooked me for some reason i couldn't go back to sleep. still running on 3 hours. call me crazy or w/e you want i know what i saw and have seen in the past.

Depends on what we define as supernatural. Some of it is just natural in my opinion. But humans have come so far, we find extraordinary things either impossible or just very difficult to accept. Theres no doubt in my mind that ghosts in particular exist. But people fear and deny what they dont understand.

Could humans have evolved over the same amount of time as everything else or even faster when they have such a complicated mind that scientists cannot explain, we continue breathing unconsciously and we have a heart that beats all by itself. I do believe in the supernatural. Among a few other things, in Savannah, there was a girl who killed her mother using wysteria. I'vs seen her soul staring out from the window.

I believe. I've had a couple experiences and I think my house may be haunted. When I was a kid I saw a woman in white whom I thought was my mother until she came in the front door opposite where the woman was. I've also had dogs that will bark at nothing and the sounds of footsteps and doors closing when I'm home alone. I'm not particularly afraid though. Whatever is in my house doesn't appear to be malevolent. I'm still a little skeptic whenever someone telling me about ghosts though. I want more than just someone's word and crazy stories.

I don't know if i believe or not. One time I went to an old hotel that was supposedly haunted. It was owned by a guy that had a thing for young girls(ew). The tour guide told us where his room was and that sometimes his spirit would try to pull pretty young girls in. I didn't believe her but the story freaked me out(I was 13 or 14 at the time). I poked my head in and smelled ciggarete smoke and started to get really dizzy so I quickly ran away. I don't know if I was just freaking myself out or he was trying to get me to go in.

Ya, i guess i have been through it. I do belive. Well, in my old house there was always sounds comthing from the attic, and this house was old old, and me and my mom saw like a child and i heard a little boy whispering or somthing. Then at my dads, it kinda still happens but not alot, in my room I would hear things and 50 heaters would be on but it would be freezing like just in my room. No where else. But now i live somewhere else and its perfect. No ghost here! But it happeneed alot. And im still scared of the house. I never did like it. It had a bad feeling around it.

Yes I do, I've had a few supernatural experience. A few months ago Me and My brother was up and out of no where we heard LOUD singing(the tv was on but we've seen what was on already and it never had that loud singing in it). I was up for a while looking up how to get rid of ghost, spirits, and demons. Since then nothing like that has happened so I'm assuming that whatever it has left.

There's plenty of supernatural, just need to know where to look and to understand the logic behind it. There IS logic to be followed, there is scientific evidence which has been used in the past to prove it. People either don't take the matter seriously, do not wish to believe, or are too easily swayed by ignorance. Provide a situation, and there's a good chance I can agree if there's logic behind it or not.

I've had a few notable situations in the past though. When it comes to spiritually related matters at least. Give them proper respect, don't treat them like things, and you'll get all the evidence you want so long as you go looking in the right places.

My family seems to have an odd affinity for supernatural events, at least my father's side does.

My grandma had a conversation with her eldest daughter shortly after she passed.

I've had several experiences with ghosts, mostly in broad daylight. They weren't some weird shadows or anything like that. I clearly saw a teenage girl on multiple occasions when there was no one of that description in my house.

My uncle reports odd disturbances in his house on the night his brother died. This happened before the body was found. It was things like his dogs barking at the time of his passing and extreme feelings of unease.

While living in Japan my dog was living with our extended family back in the states. Shortly after she died we opened up one of our cabinets to find everything in it covered in dog hair. She hadn't lived with us for at least a year and we had used things in the cabinet fairly often before that incident.

I live in an area that is considered extremely haunted. In one of the colonial houses nearby, staff member often feel someone attempt to push them from the top of the stairs. They are always the last ones to go down the stairs during the tour and when they turn around no one is there. This only happens to people dressed in colonial costumes. There are two window in the same house that glow blue at night. There have been scientists called out to figure out where the glow is coming from, none have come up with a solution. It has been proved that there is no internal light source and it is not a reflection.

I try to convince myself that I don't believe in the supernatural, but deep down I wish for the abnormal. I've heard of supernatural experiences, and one that has especially stuck in my mind is back in primary school, there was a girl who's grandmother had recently died, and she showed me one of the photos from after the funeral. What was really creepy was in the front of the photo (of her and her family) the flash of the camera had shown up in the photo ( as it sometimes does) and was in the silhouette of a woman with short hair, facing the camera, with the hairstyle of the girl's late grandmother.

My family has a long record with the supernatural; though I have yet to have my own experience with it (me and a couple others in the family haven't had an "experience" yet). My aunt was telling me about the time she left to the pharmacy to get some medication; when she walked in she tried asking the front counter for her medication but they would not respond. She tried talking to anyone else but they would not respond. So she left to meet up with my grandma; told her that she could not get her medication. Grandma told my aunt to go back and demand it (because grandma teaches us to not take shit from anybody). So she left to the pharmacy again but she couldn't find it; she looked everywhere. So she asked someone where the pharmacy is and they told her that there was a pharmacy around 2 years ago but there was a fire that killed a lot of people and burned down the pharmacy. So that explains why the others in the store did not respond to her when she tried to talk to them.
I got other ones in my family history like encounters with aliens; great-grandpa said he saw a mermaid; and my mother told me about her prophetic dreams and her fortune telling friend (and when I say her friend is a fortune teller I do mean she is the real thing).

well, in my country(philipines) we have a lot of scary shit...

my classmate told me that his grandmother told her that when she was pregnant she saw a tiktik(a monster thing with long tongue that eats babies,usually from a inside the womb of a pregnant woman) and tried to attack her but her husband manged to shot it but then disapeard. the next morning, they went to the grandmother's sister's husband's cousin's house which was close by, but when they arrive the guy was already dead with a gun shot so they thought that the tiktik was him.

also a random wounded man came to her grandmothers house and asked for food, so of course she feed him and treated his wound.
then after that the guy gave her a book(the man died afterwards maybe because of his wounds).My classmate was 5 years old when he was fooling around and accidentally found the book that his grandmother hid, the book was as thick as a dictionary and all written in Latin it was very old and saw pictures of plant and rituals. sooooo his granma saw him and got bitch slaped :P.

he also told me that her grandma's sister use it without permission and tried one of the rituals. after that she tried going in to a bus but no one noticed her she was like invincible so she dint even have pay get to pay for the bus. but after using it he keeps smelling candles and like dead bodies and she's the only one around that can smell it(in my country's myths if u smell candles and dead bodies even if there arnt any around then your being followed by a spirit).so she got scared and returned the book LOL.

Ah the supernatural. This is a very interesting subject. Not really, but you get my point. I myself believe anything, and everything can happen, or even exist. Sure most of those so-called supernatural beings are just made up for peoples entertainment, but there is always some truth behind every tale.

I have had what you might call a "supernatural experience".

I remember that when i was little, we had just moved from montreal to edmonton, and it was our first night in the new house. I slept fine, but when i woke up, a silhouette of my grandmother(God rest her soul) was staring back at me. She disappeared after smiling at me for about three seconds. My first friend is an empath and can tell what someone is feeling, even if she doesn't know them. When I was little I lived in the country in an old worn-down house. Every night I had nightmares that ended in me waking just when I was about to die. I remember one time my brother and I shared an extremely terrifying nightmare. Often the tree appeared to be staring at me with an evil glare. The shadows moved on there own, and on more than one occasion I caught someone/something staring at me through the windows. Didn't help that we lived right next to a graveyard. The day we moved I heard a voice coming from the ceiling telling me not to leave.

The only supernatural existence that many people believe and "bothered" us are ghosts. Though most non-believers thought ghosts are made-up existence by humans' fear and mind, I believe it really exist. Many scientists and non-believers tried to make all those supernatural events scientific, some of them are proved to be unable to explain using scientific reasoning, and I'm sure not all people who shared their true ghost stories are trying to lie or just mind-effects. How can a person who died appeared in another place at the time he/she died? This kind of events happened to too many people that scientists and non-believers could not just say "fake".
Many ghosts bother us because of reasons. They may just need to finish something they haven't finished in their life time, or still have something in mind to do. Only those who have deep resentment that can really affect humans should be considered as dangerous and should be eliminated. Elimination do not require "weapons", as you guys are saying. "Weapons" for whatever supernatural existences, especially those which are created with "materials", or just our "imagination", are what I believed to be "fake". There are no real ways, in my opinion, to kill a supernatural existence with that kind of "weapons". What could really "kill" them is still in consideration...Still, if vampires stuff really exist, as long as they don't bother us, we don't bother them.

Absolutely. The stuff on my bathroom counter moves almost daily now, though I've no clue what could be causing it. The door remains closed (it stays shut with a broom against it, because the doorknob is out.) and 'locked' by the broom all day. No one goes in there. But stuff still moves around the counter. I've come home to find q-tips in the sink and the spare toothbrush out of place, as well as my lotion and perfume switched, and the lotion was on the floor, with the perfume tipped over another time.

For a second, i thought it was coming from my lamp that was lit on, but when I covered the light, it was still there. It kinda scared me, but I told it to move up, and it really moved up. I kept telling it to move, and if followed me. But eventually, I fell asleep.... -_-

So, I'm not sure that this specifically counts as supernatural if not the boundaries of science. You know, those uncharted territories of scientific research that do not bend or yield to the scientific method.

The fact is that I have been visited by UFO's, they are greys specifically, and they have told me that I can talk to animals and spirits of animals through them. They relay the messages and then the animals respond through them as well.

Today, for example, some birds decided to do a little sex show in front of me. The thing is that the birds have been being pretty shitty to me, talking shit as they fly by and generally talking a lot of shit and making threats.

But the birds know I am lonely and that they wanted me to feel better. Well, that's cool, I guess, it was interesting except one of them was a total loser and kept interrupting the show, so I had to chase him off.

After that it was totally legit until they really sort of flaked and flew somewhere more private.

Now, the thing is, everyone knows I'm pretty much a die hard cat and kitty loyalist. I've read about the historical history of cats and their historical role in the development of history and they are fucking awesome.

And that, specifically, is generally, why I and birds do not get along. Birds hate cats and cats eat birds sometimes.

Now, mind you, all this information is as per the greys. I honestly do not know what the birds or the cats or any other animal, including humans, really thinks about me. But my general belief is that they all pretty much hate me.

But, it is true, that I do communicate through the greys with the animal kingdom in some capacity, although it is hardly straightforward. I had no idea about the sex show, for example. All I knew was that I was going to get a cup of coffee and sit under a tree and hope that a bird does not shit on me.

In any case, while I do appreciate this sort of platonic display between the birds and myself, I feel, well, I expect that they are going to throw a shitty bill in my face. So, what I'm going to go do is talk to some of my cat friends who have ways of making the birds a little less aggressive.

But here's the thing, the birds are very stupid and dull species. So I'm not really interested in disciplining a bunch of bird brained birds. So, to make the message clear, I'm going to talk to these cats and see if they will put a muzzle on the hounds clearly manipulating the birds. Hint:Cats hate dogs too, so it is clear who is behind all this. The stupid doggs and their stupid dogg stuff, nuclear weapons notwithstanding.

I have seen some weird stuff before. Me and my friend and brother were outside late one night, and I saw this thing standing under a tree about twenty feet away. It was maybe seven feet tall, and dressed in a long grey robe that went to the ground. It's hood was up, and I would have dismissed it as imagination, except that it turned and walked away behind the tree. I am of the opinion that it was a demon, as it radiated a terrible presence, and I was so scared I literally fell on my butt and couldn't even yell. I've had other experiences, but none where I saw something so clearly and unmistakably.

Holy crap, yes. I used to live in an old house that was used as a hospital during the American Civil War. I woke up one night in the room I shared with my two sisters and saw a silhouette of a woman standing in the middle of the room, but it faded out after a couple seconds and I just figured I was seeing things. I'd just woken up, after all. But, then my little sister woke up. "Mom? Mom, is that you?" she said. But there was no one there now, and it sure as hell hadn't been my mom. I was freaking out, but I eventually went to sleep and didn't think much of it for a long time. Until after we moved away and my mom mentioned how the people who had lived in the house before us had claimed to have seen a woman in the back rooms of the house (where my bedroom was) and a man who had done maintenance on the fireplace outside my room had refused to come back after seeing his trowel levitate. We were playing this game that's like a mix of hide-and-seek and tag, and I was waiting with a friend of mine for the others to be found as well. I was up on the monkey bars when I saw tall, androgyneous figure with, you guessed it, a long robe with a big-ass hood. I remember it being translucent, almost see-through, and it was there even after I looked twice. So I said to my friend that "thing there, do you see that too? Odd..." to which my friend replied that she doesn't see anything and I'm trying to scare her. Soon after that it started moving and I went after it, but as soon as it got behind a tall fence, it was gone. 3 years later, I saw it again.

I remember that everytime my friend and i went on a holiday together, we bought our soft toys. (We were quite young) We put collars and leads on them. When we left the room, we left our toys on our beds, And when we came back they were usually under the bed, hidden somewhere or hanging up on clotheshooks in our room. Well, I myself do and don't believe in the supernatural. I had a pretty prominant thing happen to me when I was in highschool. I think it is what shaped my semi-belief today. In my room I would always see some little girl sitting on the foot of my bed. I could distinctly make out curly hair, some sort of short ruffled dress and those old fashioned boots the girls use to wear. I did some investigating on my own (crazy right?) and put a tape recorder right there while me and the family had gone out somewhere. I remember coming back and listening only to hear the crash of glass and a scream. There was no one around at all, no glass was broken anywhere inside or outside of the room. Later I had someone come in and bless the place, we had a bible sitting on that same spot and we left the room for a little while, came back and the bible had moved from the bed all the way to a small table face down. Needless to say I ran out screaming...that was my most prominant experience. Later I found out there had been a murder in that room and that carnie's use to live within the house. Today, my grandparents still live in that house and since then I've been more aware towards the paranormal aspect of things.

For starters, I most definitely believe in it.

Starting back when I was 18 (I'm 22 now) I was having strange experiences. I'll be brief in explaining this as it's quite long if I go into detail.

In the beginning (when I was 18):
But I could hear something walking around my room at night. Things would move, fall even though they were on a level surface without an air current. Heavy things even.

My Tv in my room would turn on by itself, mind you the house I lived in was new, we had it built, no electrical issues, I was familiar with the house. This wasn't like that.

I would have strange dreams of a tall, thin man with no face. It used to completely terrify me.

The living room TV would turn on by itself. Home alone, walking past my bathroom I heard someone say 'Bitch', but nobody was there.


There was an instance where I crawled into bed, had JUST laid down when my bed began to shake. I could hear voices, they were whispering but it was so loud and they were talking so fast I couldn't understand what they were saying. I was so scared I couldn't move.

After that I never slept soundly in my room. I would wake up every hour of the night on the dot.


(Fast forward to now, 22 years old)

I've had non-stop experiences regardless of the fact that I've moved multiple times since then. It's like they're following me.

Things still fall for no reason, I wake up with deep cuts that have no cause, bruises, loud banging sounds or creaking of the floorboards like somebody is heading into my room.

My bed will shake like somebody just ran into it or kicked it.

My cat seems oddly preoccupied with things I can't see. Sometimes she won't even come into my room or just acts very strange.

I have strange dreams, scary ones that involve people who are always 'missing' something important like a face or maybe it's just the outline of a person that I see. In each of these dreams, the person I see/meet, I somehow KNOW they're a demon.


I have dreams they're just watching me, and like an invisible weight is on me, I can't move. They just watch me sometimes, sometimes they attack.

It just depends.

While on webcam with a friend a few weeks ago, she said that my screen flashed green and she saw a face, it looked mostly human except it had sharp teeth.

We haven't Skyped since then, she hung up immediately and doesn't want to talk about it anymore.


I've really gotten used to it at this point. I'm not really afraid as much as I'm just wondering what will happen next.

I've had my eyes checked, I saw a therapist (I saw 3 to be exact) as well as a psychiatrist. I checked out as being sane.

I don't really know if I DO believe in any sort of Supernatural things. I haven't had any dealings doing with them, but my friends would always tell me that the girls and boys locker rooms were haunted. They used to tell me a bunch of things that really got on my nerves. I was angry at them for awhile then after listening to the stories they were telling me, I grew terrified. When we were at gym class, our teacher made us change into proper gym clothes and we had to change in the locker rooms. I was too scared to go in so my gym teacher let me change in the regular girls restroom. After awhile I started to have nightmares of people commiting suicide and almost all the time a little girl would show up in my dreams, waering pink pajamas with teddybears on it. She would be covered in blood and when my dream is about to reach its end she would look up. She had black eyes and a very pale face. She would juat stare at me for a long time then she would whisper strange things. Revenge was the only thing I could make out of all things she said. I was getting paraniod about everything. So when I finally had enough of the bad dreams and being so scared out of my wits that I couldnt sleep, I snapped at my friends. After getting mad at them, they stopped telling me all those things and would try to talk about something funny or different to get my mind off of it.
So after that I still don't know if I do believe....

I don't know whether I believe in the supernatural or not, but I have been dreaming about my dog ever since he died, and on certain occasions, it feels like he's still with me, still following me around. The other day, I was in my room and I heard whining sounds, but my two other dogs were downstairs, so how could they have made the noises upstairs? I couldn't figure that out one bit. When I was younger, I sometimes heard things no one else could hear. I once heard footfalls in my basement and it scared me so badly I went up to my room and stayed there. Apparently, someone died in our house in the bathtub, but I've never felt anything evil there. For the most part, my house is generally "normal"-except in my dreams, where I see my dead pets I used to have.

A long time ago, my brother claimed he saw a "lady on our porch", but he claims to not believe in ghosts anymore. I don't know what to believe about ghosts, now that I'm older, it seems the phenomena doesn't happen that much anymore.

UFOs? I have seen strange flying lights before in the sky, never met any aliens though, lol. Most of them are probably airplanes, anyway. In the area where I live, there are lots of blinking, weird lights in the sky at night....you pretty much get used to it.

There is NO proof that supernatural things/beings (like aliens, ghosts etc.)actually exist. However, there is also NO proof they don't exist. I don't really believe or disbelieve in existance of supernatural. I've never personally had an encounter with it, but I wouldn't be TOO shocked to see an UFO or something.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Oujia Boards on this. I do belive in the supernatural. I have plenty of expereinces and stories to share, but a special one in regards to Oujia. It was my first time using the thing, and I was extremely wary. I put my finger on it and we all waited for like 2 mins for it to move but nothing happened. I got a text, so I took my finger off of the board. I got a picture message of an old lady sitting in a chair in a dimly lit setting, who was extremely skinny (looked like her skin was just draped over her skeleton), waving. I didn't know of the house she was in, and at the bottom of the picture it said "from Evan". No one in the room knew anyone named Evan, and when we called the number back I got a "I'm sorry this number doesn't exist message"...to this day no idea where the pic came from.

No, not really. I gave up on religion and all superstitions a while back but i do believe that an entity or a certain force may have created the universe and makes everything possible and stuff. By believing that i can still have some sort of faith and i can just think that god just doesnt give a shit and just lets the universe exist in all of its entropy. Anything else 'supernatural' should be easily definable with enough research and analysis.

So when we accidently turned up a dark alleyway, room, road or anything that screams out the sinister vibe, my oh-so-wonderful-friends are more than wiliing to sacrifice me as a volunteer to venture the first step and make sure the coast is clear out of anything weird that may jump right at us.(Oh, aren't they nice?)

And when we all decide to go watch a scary movie,I'm the only one laying back at my seat, arms crossed, with a passive look on my face while contently stealing some of their popcorn when they're cowering or looking anywhere but the screen when a scary shot starts to show.(Hey.. I'm so used on notice 'things' that watching a cheap drag on screen doesn't affect me that much in real life.)

I think,.. a part of supernatural exist because we conjured them or make-believe them in our minds. It may be done accidently or unknowingly.. who knows? It may be due to fear, excitement, agony, sadness, despair and alot of negative emotions. It's like we gave 'life' to it.

The wonders of how our mind can work. Sometimes, do you notice when you silently want something and eventually, later, or a day after, it's fulfilled? You could say it's a wish, a miracle, a whatever. It's like our mind can do things that we're not aware of.. We keep focusing, giving our whole attention on that stuff until it really happens. It's like convincing children to believe in santa, the tooth fairy, bogeyman and other creatures or beings that I can't remember.. Without us realizing, little by little we give a chunk of existence to form this character. You could say it's all in your head. And when things start to happen, you start panicking/hyperventilate and conjure up the most impossible scenario, feeding more into this being you made believed in.

Well, that's how I view in the supernatural. I don't know about you. What about you think?

I do believe in spirits/ghosts. I believe that there are good spirits and bad spirits. My mother had an experience where one time she walked into the bathroom and could "feel the negative energy just flowing from an area of the room" She calmly and loudly told it "Get out of my house" and it left.

My grandmother had an extremely old house that had previously been many things: a saloon, a bar, a motel, ect. Spirits dwelt there, and she had experiences with them numerous times. She soon had the house exorcized, and hasn't had bad spirits there since.

I didn't really but my lover thinks I met a demon before when I was sad. I once cried to sleep b/c I was fighting everyday and my house whole was crazy at the time with fighting a lot too. Then when I fell alsleep I thought it was a dream but it was very bright it looked like I was in the sun but I saw a dark figure. I was so sad though I ran to it giving it a hug and it kinda stood still but hugged me back then when I woken up it was like I was gently put back on my bed and it was very soft. It was like the best sleep I had but I kinda had to clean myself up though in that sleep. It was very strange but it was nice. Not to have it sound creepy or weird butmy lover might've been right though. I seen something weird before but once again I assumed it was a dream but it seemed very real and felt real. It was long enough to go through the night to morning it was like it took all the sadness away and held me. It could've been good too but my lover told me it was a demon but it doesn't seem like it was going to hurt me. My lover felt like I scared it but it felt my sadness.

I remember I use to see a lady in the bathroom. She was more of just a silhouette, but she would always hold onto the side of the door frame and peek out a bit too look at me. When I first saw her I was scared, but after a while I was more curious about her, and now I just don't see her anymore.

When I went on vacation to Mexico to visit some family members, I slept over at my aunt's house. I slept in my cousin's bunk bed on the bottom. In the middle of the night I woke up and I saw this little girl. Again I couldn't make out anything specific because she appeared to be just a figure. My other cousin was sleeping on the floor on a mattress. The girl was standing at the foot of his mattress just looking down at him. It looked like she had something in her hands or like she was fiddling with something. After a few seconds she was just gone.

The next morning when I asked about it my cousin's kinda seemed like they didn't believe me. But when I got into detail they flipped out and said that there were believed to be spirits at their house. They said that one of their family members experienced something similar and that they saw a little girl too.

I'm not sure what to believe in. For all I know I could be crazy and just be imagining everything out was probably hallucinating. Who knows.

I think i do experience them from time to time but i don't totally believe them. I need to see one myself. Well the supernaturals i want to see would be something like Gods, Aliens, Ancient Mythologies not just creepy ghosts or something. Ghosts and Apparitions are like low level Supernatural beings :) So i wanted to see something more than just ghosts! I want to see Something Much Much Much more interesting! Yesh i believe in it!! Just about everyone in my family on my dads side has a sixth sense, especially one of my cousins who can see odd things. Ive sensed and heard ghosts (never seen one though) our house had a ghost in it for a while, i believe in alternate dimensions and strongly believe i have been in a parallel universe (im writing a book about it) i went there 17 times and its really cool. Ummm, aliens. My dad says hes been abducted, we have seen UFOs and stuff~ ....yep

Many different things have happened to me, but I'll just explain a short one.
Background information: My door needs an extra push to fully shut. Sometimes when the air vents come on, it can push my door close if it's very close.
Story:
So, I was sitting on my bed in my room with the door at least halfway shut. It may not have had that extra click, but it was closed. I don't actually remember if the air vents were going, but I don't think it really mattered for what happened. I was doing something, and not staring at the door when all the sudden it slams, as if it had been open the whole time. Not just a little click or anything. SLAM. Scared the crap out of me.
I've had other things occur, but those are stories for later dates.

I believe that the things we consider supernatural can all be explained by scientific or natural causes. There might be a lack of knowledge, ones vivid imagination or we misperceive something. If it wants to, our brain can make us believe the craziest stuff. There are countless possibilities to rationalize occurences.

But I honestly wouldn't mind if the supernatural existed as long as it's not out there to kill me.

theres always the possibility of supernatural phenomenon, we havent found everythin in this universe yet, and like aliens/ ghosts, demons, etc could be found everywhere, theres a book series by robert lumley called necroscope, he based it off H.P.Lovecraft's cthulu mythology.

I used to not believe, but then I played Hitori Kakurenbo, and my shit got fucked up bad... the scariest ritual ever.

Ever had one of those moments when you think you're being watched? Well, here I was studying this other day, I looked at the corner of the door and I saw this white thing, so I got up and went against the door and looked at the corridor and saw it again near the end of it.

I got my trustworthy Tensa Zangetsu katana replica and went to the end of the corridor, outside and then... I didn't see it anymore, so I went back to my room with my sword for the rest of the night.

This happened like... 3-4 weeks earlier.

Question, what is Hitori Kakurenbo? And after hearing stories from people about their experiences with the supernatural, and my own experience with a creepy ghost of a woman in white, I definitely believe.

Also not my own personal experience, but a coworker of mine used to play with a Ouija board when she was younger, to this day she now hears voices occasionally speaking to her. Moral of the story, do not mess with a Ouija board.

I've seen shadow people. Like they look like grown men but they have no physical form. Kinda creeped me out, to be honest. I swear I'm not going insane.

I both believe in it, and have likewise experienced it several times. Maybe it's due to though, that I find it absurd for people to deny the existence of the supernatural.

I honestly think I, amongst many other people, deny the existence because we personally are not exposed to it. I have never had a "haunting" or seen "shadow people" like everyone is mentioning. I feel like in-your-face evidence rather than just examples seem to trigger more people into believing things like this.

You know something I find really funny? How the universe is weird. Think about it, we have normal people like us, at the same time we have the supernatural and people trying to figure out if aliens are real. Many possibilities out there, some are actually legit...

Oh I got one, ok so one time in my old house I would get really bad nightmares of a tall black “creature” walking the hallways. The nightmares got so bad that I started to not go to sleep...so one night when I was just laying in bed I got a weird feeling and me being me I got out of bed and walked to my parents room and cracked their door open to see if they where awake or not. When I did I saw the black “creature” stand over them. That’s when I walked backwards to my room and locked my door. I told my mom but she doesn’t believe me...

Btw it was in the early morning and the windows where open so that’s how I could see, not saying I can see in pitch black.

Both sides of my family have some connection to the supernatural. Well, in general, my country has a lot of myths and legends that play into everyday life. So I'll have to say yes, I do believe in the supernatural.

Probably one of the more weird and supernatural-esque things that have happened to me was when I just straight up saw a ghost. It was floating in one of the larger bedrooms in our house. It looked so much like my great great grandfather, down to the way it dressed.

It wore this kind of nightgown-ish thing that was common for people in his time period, but it had a lot of blood on it. It had a candle in one hand and just floated menacingly in the corner. There's a few more, but this takes the cake.

I would like to think that the supernatural are just things that we, as humans, with our current awareness and technology cannot see or comprehend by normal means. For example some birds can see colors that we, as humans, could not even fathom. Perhaps ghosts and the like are just on an EM spectrum that we cannot see? Perhaps things like the Loch Ness or Vampires are just creatures we have little information about or are human beings that we do not fully understand. Just something to ponder~

I once was badly electrocuted by a tree... I just touched it and woke up minutes later with a bad taste in my mouth and a burn on my hand...

I think it's better not to believe in them, because choosing to believe or not to believe won’t change anything, except the bar of your fear.
