PETA's still at it: Making Mario looking like a bad guy by making him chase Raccoons to peel off their skin, they made a "parody" game off probably the world's biggest franchise to children AND grown-ups: Pokémon.
I can see where they're coming from capturing wild animals and making them fight wouldn't sound right in this world. But making completely innocent material sound so gory and evil is just wrong.
Why, saying characters mistreat their Pokémon in the games is a completely inaccurate thing to do. Sure, the villains do, but that's who you're normally trying to stop!
I'm not a Pokémon fan, and I actually found the message of the game, of animals trying to escape harm and be free kinda cool. But the way they go out of their way to make things look bad by messing them around and turning them twisted? I mean, seriously... what do they even hope to achieve by making these useless games?

PETA is the devil. I thought people knew this by now...

Althoug I completely support PETA and their views on some things such as puppy mills,animal abuse,furs,and such things as that,but trying to tear down the franchise of Mario and Pokemon just seems kinof a low blow,ya know?I mean,I watched pokemon as a kid,and right after,I would be watching animal planet and using every bad word in my six year old arsenal to yell at he bad people on animal planet who are seen abusing and killing animals on "animal cops".Honestly,I believe the two things are completely seperate.

personally the pokemon peta game made me laugh. i think that it's just another attempt by them to raise awareness, and since pokemon is such a popular game. including the fact that it has risen in popularity ever since black and white have come out and the sequel as well. personally i'm happy pokemon made a sequel but besides the point it's just gonna be a quick poke at them and easly forgotten
