Hey guys! What's your favorite book genre(s)?

Feel free to leave book recommendations! I'm running out of books to read so I'd like ideas of what to buy next.

My favourite genre is Philosophy and abstract! Try reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami or The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho!

I enjoy urban thrillers and dystopians in general. You could try the Maze Runner for starters.

I don't really have a favorite genre, I just like weird and interesting stuff. If you're interested in classics, try short stories by Chekhov, they are easy to read and funny as hell. If ya want some weird and mind-bending stuff, Kafka is the OG, and if you want something a bit more modern, go for Neil Gaiman (novels, his short stories can be a bit... meh). Also I really like mystery novels, so I recommend Agatha Christie (obviously XD), Dorothy Sayers and Ronald Knox, they are the founders of the genre...

Sorry for rambling, hope this helps a bit :)

My favourite genre is sci-fi! Writers of these works go even further with imagining humanity in a different setting, and it's very entertaining to read but also very intriguing. :)
Some of my faves (some are not sci-fi, I like experimenting with genres and authors!):
-2001: A Space Odyssey - Arthur C. Clarke (#1 book of all time, personally!)
-Earthsea TRILOGY - Ursula K. Le Guin
-The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
-Death on the Nile - Agatha Christie
-Rocannon's World - Ursula K. Le Guin (first of her many works) :)
