The first book I read by him was Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki, I was immediately intrigued by his writing style. While reading the book, there was a sense of unease that I felt. All I can say is that his writing is hauntingly beautiful! There's probably a low number of fans considering how he's one of the lesser known writers out there.

I've read the 1Q84 trilogy and Norwegian woods and I really enjoyed both though i have to admit that the endong to the last one left me really dissapointed.

haruki murakami is actually very well known. but he's more of an adult author so younger kids won't know him as much.

you should kafka on the shore next. very nice book.

Yes!! I really love his works ^^ I've read 1Q84, Colorless and i'm starting the triology of the Rat now. His writing style just amazes me. I get drawn in and cant let go.
