Ok just a disclaimer real quick. I'm somewhat new to the site so if this is in the wrong location let me know what the right place to put this is and I will do so. Thank you.

Ok, so, I want to be an author. Just putting that out there. I really really like to write stories and I'm always finding new ideas all around me but it's hard for me to find motivation to write a lot because well it's hard to write unless I've got the right circumstances for it, but also it's because of my fear that what I've found interesting will not be well accepted at all. I'm not expected to be a one hit wonder or over night sensation, but my ideas are somewhat out there so this is where you guys come in. I wanted to know what kind of a story you guys would like to read? I'm not very good with romance oriented stories. I'm good at implementing it but I'm not going to be like Mr. Sparks or anything. So aside from that, I do like writing fantasy or mythology and I even dabble in dystopian. You're welcome to suggest other ideas but if there's a story or plot you've always wanted to see done, please suggest it here and I'd be happy to think about it.

Hi, I'm also a fellow writer such as yourself, but I don't ask suggestions of what people want to read, cause it's all around you.

Obviously, popular novels are what people want to read. Look for its genre, read the book, and understand why it captivates people.

Audience are divided into different groups. You have to choose which group you want to focus on and know what genre you are good at.

Don't just write something out just because people wants. You have to enjoy the topic/subject/theme of the story, to fully inspired to write. If you enjoy what you wrote and think its interesting, then believe on it.

Every word you say affects you. If you think bad about yourself, then your mind would believe making your writing suck.

Though I'm not really interested of becoming an author but I do enjoy writing stories. So good luck of becoming an author.

Haha yeah. I get ideas all the time but I've never been able to stick with something so I thought maybe I could look into other people's ideas to see what they would like to see if anything inspired me.

As for the whole "you are what you think" thing, that's probably not going to be altered any time soon. I've been bullied pretty much my entire life by my peers until about three years ago and the fact that my parents aren't very supportive of my dreams doesn't help either. While my confidence is improving, I've kind of developed a habit of insulting myself because of my past. It's why in many of my stories there's usually one character who goes either by my name or a pseudonym I used to go by that is confident, has achieved her dreams, and has a great family life, so pretty much the me I want to be.

But aside from my not so good home life, like I said, I can't stick to anything because of my insecurities, which probably stems from my past. My emotions tend to control what I write and aside from my more dark pieces that will never see the light of day, I can't be very consistent.
