Here will be a place for me to sort of throw my thoughts to the wall and make art out of the rubble... As such, I would honestly appreciate a sage since it isn't that important. Just going to be putting down tidbits of my sci-fi works to get a feel for everything.

anyway... here goes

"You, whom I have met many times before, will never remember my name in your waking breath. we live together in this dream they call reality. They concern themselves only with what they can perceive as their reality, and cannot open their hearts to new dimensions of thought. They fail to dream, as I have dreamed, of a world without fear, of smiles shining brilliantly for all to become themselves wrapped in the warmth of radiance itself. I am afraid, that after the dust's fall not one of you will remember my tender words and loving embrace, and that in my stead, only fear will remain."

"I do not know who will be able to read this testimony, or what will become of it, but I offer it freely, without prejudice to whomever might inherit this record. What I offer is simply that, a record. Free from the censures of time and digitality, to make the truth known the way we used to learn truth and lies alike, in physical print, borne from my own hand. My reasons? After what we found down in that fucking hole I am certain no one will ever speak of it, or recognize its truth, much less its horrid existence.

We are all of us, but fools in the face of this unfathomable truth.

A soft whisper escapes my breath.
What did I just say? I try to remember, but the knowledge is lost.
I awaken my eyes to the sounds of the sea, an endless ocean surrounding the circular platform on which I lay. I stare at the sky in front of my as I listen to the sound of a ticking clock.
I raise my body upon my elbows and turn my head to see a clock beyond any construction I can understand, rising from the metalwork of the platform. A soft breeze kisses my cheek.
"So it is you again this time."
I stir to see a young girl sitting on the outer edge of the platform. Someone I know? I feel an inescapable urge to say something surge over every fiber of my being, but fail to think of what it is.
She turns to look at me.
"So you have forgotten yourself..."
She stands and approaches me. I try to stand, but my body feels heave and I fail to support myself. She embraces me tenderly from behind as my head falls to rest on her lap. Waves of emotions flow through me, and I find tears streaming down my face.
"I can't remember you... Why can I not remember?" I cry.
"Anshin, anshin... it isn't your fault" she whispers.
I lay in her arms and rest my mind from its troubles.
"I want to remember..."
"You will in time... it's alright. Please don't force yourself beyond your ability."
The cool air of the sea relaxes my body with its touch. I begin to recall my present circumstances. The war, my unthinkable fate, the long torturous destiny in front of me. She hums a familiar tune gently as my mind struggles to comprehend.
"It's so hard... everything... How can anyone possibly stand and face such a fate? Why must I suffer this truth?"
A kiss softly grazes my head. The crashing waves of the sea continue their tranquil concerto.
"This destiny lies with you because you have seen. You who have experienced in this world much suffering of many people. Because you have come to face this reality without hesitation or aversion. That is why this most important quest belongs to you. That is the meaning of your fate. You must remember all you have seen, and see to it that your eternal truth does not die alongside your spirit."
She cradles my face with her hand, and I gaze at her pale skin and soft blue hair, and I cry in her arms. I finally regain my composure and speak:
"Please... tell me who you are. I need to remember"
She sighs
"You know my name well, though you will not remember it even if I speak it. Rest easy, as you will never truly be alone while I exist here. Anshin, anshin... Think, and in becoming thought, you will one day know my name again."
She strokes my cheek as my eyes grow weary.
"Sayonara" she whispers.
And I awake from the dream.
Tears dry themselves on the cold air, and I can again remember nothing of that sea.
