Alo'! Building off of an older idea, I decided to right this, in the hopes of someone noticing and liking it. I definitely want to improve my writing skills, and I hope that such an idea like this will help inspire me to try. Danke!

Heart racing, blood pumping, clock running down...c'mon, cover your partner!

BOOM!

The boy in red fell to the ground, the bullet hitting his skull. The timer buzzed. The crowds cheered.

"That...was close.", Endre said, approaching his fallen victim. "Good game, eh?"

"Good game.", The boy said, getting up. "Did ya really have to hit me in the face, though? That shit hurt!"

"Sorry! I was just pumped up!"

A victory for the Blues this week. Endre felt good, not only winning the game, but saving his partner as well. He was to be thanked for it among the cheering of the fans. "Well, we sure got'em this time, eh?", Marie said. Marie was a skinny girl, but very strong. She didn't hide it either, and Endre knew it. Hell, all the other guys knew it. Above all, though, Marie and Endre were inseparable partners on the Blue Team, one of the four major teams in WARGAMES.

WARGAMES...the choice sport at the Acadamy. It was a fast-paced, dangerous pastime, televised every Friday night. Two or more teams would work together in an intense combat simulation in a fight to the "death". The arena: The "Graveyard", an artificial town, complete with multiple-story buildings, banks, gas stations, roads, and its own wide away of traps. Machine gun turrets, pitfalls, roadside bombs, haywire electronics and machines, and mind-boggling puzzles. Each team was ranked through a point system, and winning teams receive more points. It's actually fairly simple to follow, just hard to play.

Nonetheless, Endre and his partner had become quite skilled in WARGAMES, and even extended that skill into their work with the Student Council, who's "Student Security Branch" was tasked with stopping crime both in and outside the Academy. However, that is a story for another time...
