Fire is something that inspires,
And drives us to strive,
For things we cannot reach.
Fire ignites,
And sheds light,
So we can see what is wrong and right.
Fire is something we use to fight,
And we toss aside the light,
This fire wanted to provide.
We are all little fires,
And we've grown so we can reach higher.
Slowly,
That fire dies,
And we try to give it life.
But no matter how hard we try,
We cannot create fire with our bare hands.
SO we live without the fire inside,
And it fades from our memory's of our younger life.
We turn to a fire that burns,
And the fire that causes us to yearn,
For another living being,
And we begin to see,
That we have truly grown,
and unconsciously,
We have known,
That every living being,
Is a fire that never dies.
