We all know about Mary Sues, we know where to look for them and how their character works.

One day while writing my urban fantasy stories I suddenly got an idea for a twist to the Mary Sue. What if they were stepford smilers?

What if, if they weren't perfect every second of every day and make everyone love them, they were taken apart like the robots they are and given a new personality? What if one managed to realize what was being done and reacted with horror about its supposed 'perfect' way of being? It's a bit out of my usual genre, since I wanted to use an actual robot, but I think I might be on to something.

Thoughts? Would this be a good enough twist on the Mary Sue concept? Critique if you want, I want honest opinions
