I've been watching Chouyaku Hyakunin Isshu (which is really good btw; everyone should watch it), so I was inspired to make this thread!
Rules are simple. Each person writes a love poem. It can be any form, any language (please include an English translation if you do though). Let's keep the content PG though. Whether you're good or bad doesn't matter. Just write!

for want of direction.

It’s what we want, and what we hate.
Is it planned, or is it fate?
It breaks your heart, and makes your day.
Is it over used, or hard to say?
It’s the wanted truth, and the hated lie.
Does it bring you joy, or make you cry?
Beautiful dream, or sinful temptation?
These separate things, hold a relation.
To what’s below, and all above.
Is it just lust, or is this all love?
