Has anyone heard of this series? It is one of my favorites :)
The storyline is about two races: one who cannot go into the light or they will burn to dust (darkborn) and one who cannot go into the dark or they will dissolve (lightborn). The lightborn promote magic and the darkborn promote technology.These races have fought in the past and now have a tenuous peace between them so they can coexist in the city. Then something else comes to threaten that peace. A new race who don't follow the same rules. There's also magic and technology battles between the races.
