So I found a used book store in the mall, a great place really with all sorts of books you cannot find anywhere else, and some amazing classics. So anyways I looked around and found The Bonesetter's Daughter, a novel by Amy Tan. I bought it, then began reading. Just right on the first chapter I found one of those chinese envelopes, or red envelopes often given away during Chinese New Year. It had the coin in it and everything. I was so happy and what not, if I had my camera (it was stolen) I would take a picture of it.
The envelope was the common red then with a tree in bloom, the tree had two little birds looking at the chinese text on it. Very beautiful indeed. This experience really made my day, and week.
