Ok, this is my first time starting a thread and I hope I'm putting this in the right forum. Kodansha has taken over Del Rey and will no longer be publishing Suzuka. The crux of the problem is that there is only a few volumes left but Kodansha seems content on it being ok to leave the series incomplete in English. Now, I know that I can read it online and have already done so, but I would also like to have it in print. So I ask that whoever reads this write or email Kodansha to try to get them to publish the remainder of the series. Thank you

Also, please reply if you are going to contact Kodansha.
Thank you

I think that's kind of rude. It's up to the publishing company. If it's not making them any money, then that's fine, and it's not ours to choose what they do. It's really obnoxious to go bombard a publishing company with emails when you don't fully understand the situation. If you direct me to an article with a properly cited quote that says it's not being published for [instert some really obnoxious reason here], sure, I'll join. Otherwise, it's not for you to choose, and it's immature to complain if they really needed to cut back.

If they could be taken over, then the company was probably in a bad financial situation. Even if Kodansha bought it, that doesn't change that situation, and it's the buyer's job to whip it back into shape. Hence, the publishing of some mangas may be discontinued. It's nothing to whine and fuss over, though.

Of coure, I could be totally wrong, but that's what is being implied in this situation.
