Burning Bridges (1)

1 Name: Aya : 2011-10-09 19:01 ID:chVz6dI6 [Del]

~Avian~
The rain fell in sheets, stinging my face like tiny shards of glass. My tears mixed with the raindrops, and it felt like God-sensei was crying, too. But it was his warriors who had taken her. Aya-chan, the girl who I had sworn to protect until I had gotten my wings back, was taken by the avenging angels. See, those of us who lost our wings for any reason are gaurdians if what SHOULD be mortals, but my Aya-chan had a dirty little secret-she was a demon.

Ok, maybe I should back up an explain. My name's Avian, and I'm a gaurdian angel. That's a nice way to say I'm someone who pissed off God and got my wings taken away as punishment. I used to be an avenging angel, who go after demons. Oh, the irony.

Aya-chan, on the other hand, is not just any demon. She's a demon priestess, so she basically is an extra-powerful demon. She doesn't have what's called her "full-form" yet, where she gets creepy demon wings, she obtains two swords she calls her Blue Raptors, and her eyes flush scarlet among other things, because she hasn't technically died yet, but that's too complicated to explain right now. Her real name is Heather, but she prefers to be called Aya. Oh, and God-sensei is totally pissed with her, too.

So that's us. Only thing I need to explain right now is the hierchies of demons and angels. They are extremely complex, so be ready. The demon 'pyramid,' from top to bottom, is Satan, Satan's full blooded kids, Priestesses, Priests, Warriors, regular demons, humans. Yes, Priestesses come before Priests because Priestesses have more duites. The angel 'pyramid' is God, God's kids (or humans), Priests, avenging angels, regular angels, gaurdian angels, females. There are no females in any other classes, because, unfortunately, God-sensei can be a bit sexist-which Aya-chan points out frequently. Oh, we use Japanese suffixes (chan, kun, san, sensei, senpai, etc) because Aya-chan likes them.

So here's our story.
