i babbled on and on,
thinking she actually cared,
thinking she understood.

to make her get it,
to make her hear me,

tell her what i thought,
i asked her if she dared, listen,
asked her if i should...

scream it to her,
whisper it to her,
now i wonder if i could.

i thought she cared,
i thought she understood,
and i really, truly believed...
i thought she was listening.


imagine having everyone ignore you, then finding that one person who doesn't care about a bad reputation at school. imagine being able to confide in them, and to talk to them without being afraid of being judged. you think you can trust them; talk to them. but it turns out, they were never listening.


its the same as explaining something really big and complicated to someone. it takes a couple try's and stutters, but you finally get it out. and when you ask them what they think about it, they say, "oh. sorry, did you say something? i wasn't listening."

i know exactly how you feel. dont worry though, some day you will find someone who actually does care enough to listen.
al you have to do is stay positive. ^o^

I know this feeling..
the worst is if you took care of someone with many problems and helped them with xou r hearts content to the amount tht grdes drop etc.
and then when she finally seems to be ok and things seem to be as they should, you get ignored for no reason after 3or4 years.
