It's a really good series of fantasy and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy in general. Jim Butcher is probably one of my top favorite authors of all time and I would also recommend his other series The Dresden Files. Both are fantastic pieces.

I love love love the Dresden Files. I was thinking of looking at Codex Alera after the Dresden Files too. Butcher's a genius.
