I was wondering what people put on their cheese boards.

What are your go-to cheeses? Favourite crackers? Do you add fruit? What fruit? Sauces? Honeycomb? Salami? Crushed olive? Do you have a go to ingredient? What ingredients have you tried or never tried before? What is your favourite cheese board you've ever made? How do you lay the boards out, do you have a specific pattern, a fancy plate?

I'll go first:
I personally don't do anything too fancy but I still try to make it look nice.
I grab a large plate, and in the centre I put a tiny jar of cream cheese. Around the jar I put three types of cheeses (usually cheddar, brie and something else) and three types of crackers (black pepper, rosemary and plain). Then in-between the cheeses and crackers I add fruits (grapes, apple slides, tangerines, melon). Personally I don't like adding any meat but that's just personal preference. With my most recent cheese board I added a small jar of crushed olive which I really enjoyed.

What's a cheese board..?

It's a board/large plate on which you put different types of cheeses and other foods that compliment the cheeses. (Not the best explanation so I highly recommend you Google it and look at images)

It's usually meant to be shared with lots of people so perhaps a covid pandemic isn't the perfect time to make one, but it can still be done for people within the same contact group!

Anyways, don't think we have any tradition like this over here on this side of the planet. Cheese is a very versatile complimentary food for other sustenance, I can see why this is a thing.

Mozarella is the best, man I miss mozarellas.

Also I highly recommend you try a cheese board one day (it's pretty easy to make yourself), I can 99% guarantee you will enjoy it!
