Hey guys! The Chinese moon festival is soon, in a little over a week, I think! Are any of you guys celebrating? I'm not, officially, myself, but I might do a little something for fun. Eat a cake or watch a show, read/write some fanfiction, you know. :)

What about y'all? Any exciting stories you've heard about it? Cool experiences? Strange grannies or grandpas who have told you a surprising tale? :D :)

Oh and of course this is in the recipes and food and stuff board because of the moon cakes and whatnot. 🥮 What do you guys eat at moon festivals, or at other festivals, or just to be with the moon? I wanna know some!

I celebrate the Chinese moon festival and honestly we just eat the mooncakes we either make ourselves or bought from store! ^^ We'll pair it with some teas (but that's probably just my family lol)

Chipsa have you tried mooncakes before? :)

Ah that sounds so cool! The usagi in the moon thing is so cute, I love to look at the moon sideways and see the bunny here in America. I like mochi, too...

I haven't! At least not that I recall, my knowledgeable of what a mooncake tastes like is very little. What kind do you prefer? I've read and been told that they can haveamy different fillings and flavors.
