Ketogenic Diets (1)

1 Name: Rampant Phantom : 2018-03-31 18:29 ID:/0Xg69G/ [Del]

So for the past month or so I've been experimenting with the Ketogenic- or Keto for short- diet.

The Keto diet, for those who don't know, is a low-carb, adequate protein and HIGH fat diet that is supposed to put your body into a sort of accelerated fat-burning process. This is done by causing your body to go into a state of Ketosis, which is due to the shift from carbohydrates as a fuel source for the body to fat as a fuel source. Your body begins producing Ketones which help in this process.

I started this diet stuck at around 220 or so, and as of yesterday I was at 210.8.

It's helping to burn stored body fat, but it kind of comes at a cost: various side effects that are possible to happen, such as flu-like symptoms, aches, nausea, and a lot more. This is a result of being in Ketosis, which I went into yesterday.

I'm so ready to break Ketosis, but I'm hanging in there.

Is there anyone else out there's who's doing or experimented with the Keto diet? How long have you been doing it, or how long did you do it before stopping? What were your overall results and experiences?
