Does anyone know a good sushi receipe cause I have tried so many yet they require fancy tech... So basicly a easy sushi receipe that also ends with delicious results.

By sushi do you mean nigiri sushi (rice and fish) or norimaki sushi (rice roll in seaweed). Or do you need to know how to make the rice or what to put in the roll? Let just sushi is simple and it what you want to put in the roll.

Plus you should put this question on the sushi thread.

You are lucky that I am a culinary student and I made sushi not that long ago.
To make zushi (sushi rice) yield: 2 pounds
1 lb short-grain rice
20 fl.oz water
2 fl. oz rice wine vinegar
3 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 1/2 tsp salt
1 fl. oz mirin

1.wash rice and allow it to drain for 30 min. 2.combine rice and water in a saucepan. bring to a boil, lower to a simmer, cover and stream for 20 min. 3.combine rice wine vinegar, sugar, salt and mirin and add to the rice. mix well and cool to room temperature.

norimaki

nori (seaweed)
zushi
sushi-quality fish
julienne vegetable (carrot, celery, bell pepper, shiitake mushroom, ect)
wasabi (you can put it in the roll if you want)
pickle giner (a side for the roll)
water with few drops of mirin

spread rice on the seaweed like 3/4 of the way. place the fish on the rice between the end and the middle. add the vegetable.drip a finger in the water with mirin and rub it on the seaweed side so it a bit wet. roll it on a bamboo mat with plastic wrap on it. then cut it into equal size pieces.

note: I know how to make sushi but I am not training to be a sushi chef. If you need more help I say see if youtube has a episode of Good Eats on sushi
