Balot is a dish,actually a duck egg that's premature and is abundant in the Philippines. has anyone tried it yet? they say it's gross, they're probably right but for me, it tastes quite nice. :)

Anyways, I've eaten balut all my life. When I was younger I really couldn't eat the chick unless I ate it in the dark, haha. But nowadays I can eat the whole thing, and I try to whenever I have the chance. Gotta be aware, though, since balut has high cholesterol.

man i haved tired balut but it was the premature version balut saputis or something that like that and it was all jello-ly but i want to try the real thing though
