Erased (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) is a really good one, Future Diary (Mirai NikKi) and Death Parade are some good ones that come to mind.

Gyakuten Saiban. ^_^ There's that, though if you've played the game (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) It's not that much of a thrill...

Naoki Urasawa's "Monster". A very Deep story wich is quit realistic to a certain degree. The pacing can be slow at some points but the plot is among the best I've ever read or seen.

Code Geass, it's not exactly a "mystery" per say but it's often compared with Death Note, and the main character is a genius so he'll always leave you guessing as to what plans he'll come up with and how he'll execute them.

I can vouch for "Monster", being truly amazing, while there are times when the pace is slow, when it does pick up it will leave you on the edge of your seat always wanting to know what will happen next.

If we're gonna include Case Closed then also Magic Kaito 1412, there's not a million episodes like in Conan and Lupin.
