Have you evere read anything from the great Junji Ito?
I've never been into that kind of gore drawings and mysterious stories, but this man caught me.
Maybe you've heard before about Uzumaki (which means spiral). But I enjoyed most compilations of short mysterious stories. For example, 'Earthbound'. Disturbing. Take a glance.

Heard of her/him. Never got around to reading their stuff but I should eventually since I like horror manga
