i am about half-way into my first manga and ive run into a major road-block in the first book.... okay, so to start heres a summery. "in the near-distant future, androids have all but eliminated the human race. Living in harmony, the androids live in near-perfect peace until something inexplicable happen. human rouges are on the rise and continue to rebel. androids are unaware of the situation, except for the officials. as a result, androids are becoming infected with human souls and are developing strange abnormal side affects, such as emotions and and susceptible to hackers. one android, who is only slightly infected is the main character. she teleports to her workplace at a cafe and goes out back after the work day ends. there, she sees a human boy running down the alleyway being chased by the patrol guards. he shoves her into a small cubby in the alley and they pass." but... what could possibly come next?!?!?! please, someone help me... anyone... T^T

Now you want to establish his character in order to determine what happens next. If he is going to be a Strong Rebel kind of character, maybe he forces her to come back with him because she saw him. I don't know her character, but maybe she is the kind that wants to know the situation first before she sides with the androids. What I personally would do is show that they have some sort of instantaneous connection and they either part ways or remain together for some reason. If they part ways, maybe their meeting left a small amount of doubt in her.

I, being human, am automatically assuming that humans=good, but maybe that's not the case? Maybe she turns him in to the police or he kidnaps her in an evil way?

"he keeps her hostage, but has to stay at her home because the return-route is blocked by the robot police. as he stays with her, she becomes more and more infected. as he starts to realize that androids can be returned to humanity, his rescuer (another human rouge) breaks in and tries to kill the android girl. suddenly realizing he liked her, the boy protects her. soon she is in the human tunnels and is living tensely with the population. the humans reject her and try to kill her, nut she attempts to save them in a police raid. after showing her threat to the creator, the android maker decides to wipe her memory, which is stored in the master files. now she is a regular android. the boy needs to hack the master files to obtain her memory, restoring her. but only androids can have access to the files and hack into it. he has to partake in the surgery that killed 67% of all participants before to gradually become an android. before his full transformation, he must gain access and defeat the android creator, because when he fully changes he loses himself to the software. he loses himself in the act, and does not return the girls memory. but his deed caused the rest of the androids to regain their humanity and memories of the past. the human race, who rose in revolt when the boy decides on the surgery, are all eliminated in this process of war. in the end, the androids are freed from the creator and live in peace. the boy and girl's memoryless bodies meet. cliffhanger the end." good?
