I hate you so much thread maker. I could write an entire essay on how much I loathe you for making a thread with a genuinely good series like this and being so lazy and/or stupid to not even give a summary, a synopsis, the author name, a genre... Anything.
Jesus fuck, why would you make a thread if you don't even want to spend the time to make the thread worth a damn?

On topic, Majin Tantei is a wonderful series which I ended up marathoning. twice. in a single day.
It follows Katsuragi Yako, the blonde girl, whose father has been murdered at the start of the story. While the police are investigating, she meets an interesting man - Nougami Neuro, the green eyed guy you see behind her.
He is, to succinctly state it, the daemon who has devoured all the mysteries of the Daemon world. Having run out of meals, his hunger for more intricate and complex mysteries have led him to leaving the Daemon world and entering our own in search of the ultimate mystery - One he truly believes only humans can produce.
Because it is not the 'mystery' he eats... But the twisted intention behind it.
In short order, Neuro single handedly shows his true power and solves the mystery behind Yako's father's murder - And subsequently vanishes from her life... Until she accidentally voices how fun the entire experience was.
Like a bird to a worm, Neuro drops into her life once more and adopts her as his guise in the human world, propelling her otherwise simple life into an experience of fame and infamy revolving around solving the mysteries and hearts of the world around here... All in search of the ultimate mystery to satisfy Neuro's hunger.
The series is amazing not because of the mysteries - which in many cases are actually rather sub-par - but in the character development and interaction that takes places between Yako and Neuro, as well as the other supporting characters who all grow to be fully established and important pieces of the plot as the story goes on.
If you watch carefully, even more so on the second time around, it's amazing to watch Yako's evolution from a highschool girl with an appetite to what she eventually becomes at the end. The steps taken, the moments that define her, and how the relationship with Neuro affected both her and the world.
And if none of that matters to you - Read it for Neuro. He is a marvelous character, from the facial expressions to his personality.
