Has anyone heard of this? Volume 1 was recently released in English. I bought it from Amazon and loved it.
Danger and action abound after Akira Sengoku and his classmates crash-land on a deserted island while flying home from a class trip. The island doesn't exist on any maps but that's not even the strangest part: the animals they find on the island are prehistoric beasts that are supposed to have been extinct for thousands of years! Now Akira and his friends are in danger as the island's residents start eyeing the humans for their next meal. Will they ever solve the mystery of the island and find their way home?
You should give it a try, it's really good.

I...almost quit manga and anime...because of that very last chapter.
Why the fuck did that author do a half ass time skip and absolutely did not answer not a single fucking question out of the dozens the manga brought up and focused on, and even left your heroes fates EVEN MORE uncertain than when the damn story began!??
I remember reading the Capslock raged comments on the ending chapter. Holy shit were people pissed, because- You Don't Understand!
It will be forever difficult explaining to people that this is by far the best manga ever written with the right amount of every genre, character development that will crush your soul, and never ending suspense...while saying that this is by far the worst manga with the worst cliffhanger in the history of cliffhangers and the author is a mother of all cunts.
I mean... I still say you should read it... But just don't read the last chapter.
Which you're going to do anyway, because your going to think, "Magnolia's crazy, this story has not once disappointed me after 184 chapters. How bad can chapter 185 be?"

LOL to Magnolia YEP it's frustrating and depressing and really really REALLY a cliffhanger BUT I like it so much to the point that I want to hunt the author down and torture him for ending it without justice... I NEED JUSTICE! THE CHARACTERS NEED JUSTICE!!! But meh... If you're to decide, what's the best ending for this story?
