In defense of A.I. Art (6)

Some of us have an idea and/or vision we want to share, but don't have the patience or the time to teach ourselves how to draw/or how to do some other time-consuming hobby.

A.I. Art is a gift to us. A technological advancement.

Getting real tired of the hate it gets.

Not to mention that not all of us can afford the time and/or money. But we have a unique idea that we're just aching to share with the world.

We can co-exist.

I think Ai art is fine as long as you don't use it for profit. If its taking the money from artist who actually take the time and effort and money (like >>2 said) to make their art. Use Ai responsibly. :>

Gonna have to respectfully disagree.

I can understand the frustration of having a good idea in your head but not having the technical skills to recreate your vision. But the issues with AI art are widespread and pervasive.

Not only is generative AI absolutely horrible for the environment, but the AI programs are quite literally trained on stolen art, without the original artists' consent. There are some people who make their own AI and feed their own work to it, and that's fine I guess (at least on that point) but one of the reasons artists object to it so terribly is because it's built upon theft.
