Ok so ya I finally decided to buckle down and make my own thread for some reason or another before my dad lets me have a deviantart account. I will be posting mainly art here, being that this IS an art section. I will post, but I may not post often, and if you want to see my previous works (whywouldyouwantto?) they are in the sharing thread. I will do my best to do a drawing a week or so, but with my school schedule I am not too sure how that'll turn out :/

it could still use a bit of work though the effort could really be seen. maybe more shading and study on facial proportions could really improve on your art. keep it up!

Well this is my first fantroll, Geliel. Now before anyone yells at me for my other onen I subscribe to the headcannon where technically a troll can have any blood color (excluding black and white of corse) so when my second one has a weird shade of pink please don't yell.

Geliel is a sort of shy troll. He doesn't really ever open up to anyone except for his moirail. He enjoys spending hours of the day on his hive roof, looking at the sky and down at the chaos of his planet.

I have not made his name for trollian or his quirk yet. He has a nice rich blue blood color.

Close-up/bio

Galner is a gentle spirited troll, at least when he's alone in his hive. He puts on a "cool asshole" façade when he's around other trolls, which the ladies love. He enjoys fuzzy creatures, such as his lusus who is a giant rabbit, but denies all accusations. He even goes to the trouble of ether calling him "Vorpal" Rabbitdad or "Rabbiddad" to make people think he's cooler. The only one who he lets know of his fascination, however, is him moirail Geliel. I'm thinking about using my personal chumhandle for him, which is totallyKafiltafish. with this handle, all "o", "O", and "0"s are replaced with "ⓧ" and sentences are begun with capital letters every other sentence.

I maaaaay have done a bit more character development on Galner than Geliel… maybe…

Finally, I have three pictures of my new favorite troll. X3 I'n not sorry!

This is all pretty good so far, but I do have one comment on it.

The hair, it isn't just one solid color, it has some darker spots and some lighter spots, and some spots that the light hits juuuussstttt right and it almost shines.

How you're doing hair right now, it makes it look almost 2D-ish.

Thanks for the complement on it looking good! I know that hair has lots of different colors in it as for shading, but I've never really done that so I think my style is just that way. I can try a few pictures with more detail in the hair, but it feels weird and looks off to me when I try :'I

If you want to start shading, you could do cell shading first. It's not as hard as some other forms of shading and it almost always looks right, lol

just determine a light source and make the part farther away darker. I could show you if you'd like...

other than that, I don't really know much as you can tell from my thread. All I do is draw lots of lines near darker areas and we have different styles anyways. You could always look at Pine's pixel art to get a better idea of cell-shading, just CTRL + F "Well" in view all threads or "Pineapplez"

Maybe is was a strange sense of solidarity that he shared with the inmates of Mount Massive Asylum, being a sort of freak himself. Maybe it was due to him being a man purely of science.
All that mattered was that he was kind, did his best to make sure the patients around him were as comfortable as they could be... and that he would look amazing in a perfectly designed wedding gown.
