Black Butler, one of my favorite animes. Totally amazing. It's pretty much about an Earl named Ceil Phantomhive, and his demonic butler, Sebastian Michaelis. Ceil, who's parents died due to a fire upon the Phantomhive estate, has many obstacles put in front of him. Such as, coping with the loss of his family, and seeking revenge upon the ones who had done harm to his parents. Sebastian, on the other hand, is bound to Ceil by a contract which states that once Ceil has gotten revenge, Sebastian is then allowed to take Ceil's soul.
I hope that summed it up well enough. That's pretty much just season one, though. I have yet to see season two. :] WATCH IT!

I love Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji ( I watched it subbed first). I enjoyed it immensely, and I love how it was more historical fiction than anything else. D. Grayman and Soul Eater also did historical fiction a bit, and while those are both amazing anime, Black Butler took the idea the whole way. I hope they dub the second series. i don't mind watching it subbed, but I prefer not having to read everything thats said.

Black Butler is a lot of fun. I seem to be one of the few people who actually enjoys the second anime series, though. I prefer Alois over Ciel, and Hannah is my second favorite character. (First favorite is Agni. <3 He needs more love.) Out of the demon butlers, though, Sebastian takes the cake.

Black Butler is one of my all-time favorites. What an interesting plot and variety in characters. Ciel is kind of a boring character, but I really do enjoy Undertaker, he's quite unique and hilarious. Sebastian for the fangirls (and fanboys) of course. Sebastian x Ciel moments for the yaoi fangirls/boys. Plus, the anime's got good female characters, I don't hate really any of them except for Lizzie, she kind of annoys me.

This was the first anime I saw that I enjoyed every minute of. The charcters are very realistic and the storyline is amazing!! I recommend this anime to everyone I know. Too bad the manga chapters take so long to come out...

I prefer the manga as well.
The stories are more in depth and more entertaining for me, though, Sebastian's voice in the English Dub is amazing.
I find Pluto only being in the anime a bit strange but both are still amazing to watch.

I love Black Butler as well. All the characters are well portrayed in the designs and it has good voice acting (in both Jap and Eng). Though,(please don't kill me) I was kind of disappointed on the ending. I liked the plot twist, but it wasn't carried out smoothly. That's it. (please don't kill me please don't kill me)
