RTT: I'm thinking of getting back into writing. I'm terrible at the moment, but I wish to become better and finally create the stories I imagine. I also want to do a lot of other things...Animation, dance, baking, music, art, etc. What to do when you want to pursue everything?

I've been having a sense of melancholy again lately. I thought I was done being sad about pointless things since I've been happy for months, but I guess it's coming back now. Oh well.

No surprise, my school messed up my schedule yet again. Fourth year in a row! They put me in theatre, which I never requested. It would be fun, but selective mutism and theatre don't exactly mix well. I also need two classes dropped. They have a little more than a week to fix it, so hopefully the first day of school brings me the correct schedule. Man, senior year. That's crazy. I'm not ready to be done with highschool.

On another note, I really wanna finish my Legend of Zelda shirt design soon so I can order it and wear it first week of school. Yep, I'm that loser that buys their own designs.

So quite legitimately, it looks like there's a demon coming out of my wall. It rained so hard that I guess some of it leaked out of the guttering and into my room and the paint's all bubbled out. Who thought it would be a good idea to run the guttering system between the apartments instead of around the outside of the building like a normal guttering system? Sigh, at least none of my art was in the way of the leakage, my shoes however were not so lucky.

Welp, so I now begin the chronicles of Kokkuri-san using no shampoo or conditioner. I've had a history of regurgitating at the sight of my own hair just after a shower as well as feeling extremely parched.

I've been recommended goat milk soap on my hair.....let's see how this goes.

I took a test for AP U.S. history at school today and the teacher says we have to get a 70% or higher. I either need to fucking pass with an 18/25 OR everyone just has to do really shitty so he can curve the test. =)

35 spots in the class and about 46 kids left. =/ You know the weird thing is on the website we're using to take these tests, we're able to access who is in our class and there's a kid in there named fucking Bart Simpson. My friends and I are pretty sure it's the teacher trolling the class, and if it is then I love him so much already lol.

Sat around for a solid hour trying to install Win10 on my dad's new PC. (Sooner the new one is ready, The sooner I get his old one) But after fiddling with bios and setup menus for a good while just trying to get it to read the OS install disc, I realize I had been installing Win7 the entire time.

RTT: I had some millipedes, but put them in the backyard cause I kept forgetting about them and I didn't want them to die. But it was discovered that I still had two of them in the container. One of the two died, but the other one is alive, but I don't know how because I haven't touched it in months. It has certainly earned its life/keep, so now I'm paying extra-attention to him and placing him nearer, so I don't forget about him. I'm naming him Oz.

I need to clean my room again soon. More like, organize it so I don't ponder why it's not clean. I have a terrible procrastination habit.

Safe Space Sunday!!! Today a feminist was lecturing me about how ppl shouldn't tell others to take precautions when it comes to rape, because it's "ignorant" and ppl should do whatever they want w/o getting raped.

So I'm kinda sick of her at this point and I tell her "i get that you just don't want responsibility. I'm guessing you leave your house unlocked too because someone shouldn't murder you" and she fucking replies to me some shit like "no why would I lock my home? No one should be coming in and murdering me? I shouldn't have to take precautions and lock my home!!!" and so I'm pretty sure she was trolling me b/c that was comedy gold, but the fact that she blocked me and deleted the tweets sorta makes me think she wasn't lol

Whenever I make jokes they tend to be the rude kind! I was 13 years old, in 8th grade. It was lunch time. I got my lunch along with 2 other friends and we sat at this table I normally sit in outside of the cafeteria. It was one of those hard metal tables that are circular with those small holes in it. Basically a round school lunch table (will try to upload a picture of one, as it is important to this event). It was me and these couple of friends of mine that would normally sit there. Now for some reason or other I had a pen in my hand (I don't remember why). I wasn't really feeling my best that day either. Anyways, there was this one guy from one of my classes, let's call him "Steve." Steve is the guy with whom the incident occured.

I was never really on bad terms with Steve. We both had a similar interest in anime, but he usually wouldn't hang out with me outside of class. When we did, we would poke fun at eachother or talk about our drawings. He would draw his own little comics and I just drew my own characters once in a while. This isn't really relevant so...

Anyway, I was sitting at the table with my friends and then I dropped my pen under the table. Steve was coming out of the cafeteria and noticed I had dropped my pen. I was just about to reach down and grab it, but before I actually did, Steve was already behind me and "Mockngly" said "Oh Tree, yoouuu just dropped your pen, why don't you pick it up, huh???. So, just as I was leaning in more towards the table to reach down and pick up my pen, Steve pushes the back of my head down and it hits the table. MY HEAD HIT THE TABLE!!!

It hurt real bad, and I got PISSSED that Steve did that to me! When I lifted my then hurt head he was already hiding behind another table. HE KNEW I WAS MAD!!! That sucker was trying to run away from me so that I wouldn't hit him! HE TRIED TO RUN! There was one bystander (another student) watching everything as my wrath was about to unfold on Steve! I chased him as he ran around other tables, I ended up tripping him by the time I caught up. He didn't even try to get up once he was on the floor! He just covered his head as I unleashed the rage of the almighty Tree on him!

I STARTED KICKING HIM! I KICKED HIS LEGS! I TRIED KICKING HIM IN THE FACE! I only landed a couple of kicks on it, as his face and head were the only things he was trying to protect while I was kicking and punching him. I was mad!

Eventually the vice principal saw us fighting and as he pulled us apart, the bystander student was screaming that I won the fight (there might've been more people watching, but I only remember that one person that said that because she was watching us go at it from the beginning). The vice principal sat us in the office and wanted to know what happened. At the end we got no referrals and the fight was treated as a misunderstanding between me and Steve, because Steve "accidently" hit my head against a table. He claimed that me kicking him didn't hurt at all, even though he was bleeding a little from one of his ears from when I kicked him!

We ended up staying friends up until middle school graduation though, after that, we never talked again.

I used to have a lot of anger issues as a kid, and I would usually take it out on a sibling at home. I did go to some anger management thingy for kids and they would tell me, "instead of punching your little sister in the face when you're mad, punch a pillow." So I took the advice, grabbed a pillow, and I would push it and shove the pillow onto my sister's face and then start punching it (the pillow). This would happen a lot before that middle school incident. It was after that Middle school incident that I realized how bad it had gotten. And since then I try not to get mad because I'm afraid that I would get physical. So I try not to let things get to me anymore. To not let anything bother me because there's no reason really to get angry over what somebody says or does when they don't really know you that well anyway. And I Also don't know them or what they went through either. So there's really no point to retaliate with anger at other people's stupidity.


Tl;DR: I beat up a classmate from school because after teasing me, he "accidentally" slammed my head against a table and pissed me off.

Funny thing happened tonight at work, an assistant manager got in trouble with the co-manager for I guess ignoring mine and sis's work would be the best way to describe it. We had been purging our stationary bins which just means removing everything from the bin and working it and when we were done we taped off the bins and left notes telling people to not use the empty bins because those bins were going to cease to exist once we were done purging them. Well the AM didn't like what I had written on one of the notes which was a fucking Dora the Explorer joke that he said was slanderous and so he proceeded to rip down our notes and tape and by the end of the hour had thrown overstock into our empty bins. When our CM saw how empty the bins were he was really happy (despite the overstock that the AM had thrown in there), but then me and sis told him that they had been 100% empty and that the AM had ripped down our tape he told the AM to empty the bins back out and that he needed to not interfere with our work.

I've always really liked project-driven learning. High schools tend to execute it very poorly, but I also think a looser take on it would be the best route for those in that age group, as far as encouraging interest in learning and self-sufficiency go.

^ it sucks that the copyright of everything you produce during project courses belongs to DigiPen, though (at least according to the license notice when you download them). That would drive me nuts.

Today's the anniversary of the day Enola Gay dropped Little Boy. <3 That's probably one of my favorite things I learned in history class this year. Tbh we're all so mean tho. I just checked and the stitches of my bottom right wisdom tooth are gone and it's just a giant hole, while my bottom left one still has its stitches. I think that's what caused so much pain when I first got home, since barely even accidentally brushing against them hurts.

Aye Aye, sometimes the dub does end up turning out better than the sub, but those are rare little unicorns in the anime world.
And besides Japan has incorporated a fair amount of English in their language, it's rare that I find even one Japanese song that doesn't have some English in it and to say that there aren't any Japanese in the west is an extreme hyperbole.

As far as why most dubs sound like shit, I think it's a combination of 1) idioms not translation well, 2) shitty weaboo voice actors, 3) said voice actors being in a tight-knit group that gets them hired again and again and again for projects they're not qualified for, and 4) a lack of "art direction" or "look-and-feel" quality-checking on the dubbing company's parts (the voice acting was originally included in these processes; the dubber's can't overlook matching everything up just 'cuz the visual style is outside their control).

Dub voice acting sucks 9 times out of 10. Sub is usually better, but I don't know Japanese and thus cannot compare it to the original. All I can say is that sub is usually better than dub.

Meh. If it's available I generally prefer dubbed, I guess. Most I've seen are fine, and a bad one usually doesn't quite kill a show for me. Sometimes I've even come to like some of the shittier ones.

I tend to watch anime subbed most of the time these days, though. Mostly because it's easier to find online.

The seiyuu industry in Japan is huge. There's many voice-acting schools and the demand is bigger. Naturally, the expectations for quality are higher as well. English dubs are usually so terrible because the standards for good voice acting are lower.

There are some okay dubs out there. But the majority pale in comparison to their sub counterparts IMHO.
