She was saying that kids need to learn about this stuff or else they'll become another statistic, so the boy and I started laughing. Lol, I can make fun of his lack of sexual knowledge and his hardcore religiousness. Lol, in 15 years he'll be the leader of a cult, and I'll be like, "Hey, I knew that kid!"

Now here's the funny part (at least to my bestie and I). He kikked me and he was like, "Does anyone have Lovely's number?" So he wants my number and I told him to make a Skype, because of our assignment. Lol, my bestie was like, "He's going to ask you to teach him some more and help him out with it." Guys, my uncle is so stupid. He was talking about how his supervisor got fired and he's super happy, but then he said, "I really hope they don't hire any more fags," which pissed me off. It's like, I sometimes use that word when joking, so I was surprised that it pissed me off so much, but the way he said it and in the context he said it is what got me mad. He continued by saying, "The guys who are at the top at my job are all fags. I really hope they all get fired." See the problem here is he's obviously jealous. He doesn't think someone who is gay is capable of being in charge.

Fucking prick. I hope he dies. If he thinks being straight somehow gives him some advantage then he can just go fuck himself, because ppl aren't awarded in life based on their fucking sexuality. You don't just get some 1-Up for being straight vs. someone who is gay. Omg, that pissed me off so much. No one else in our family is like this. Idk where he gets these ideas from. If he thinks being a male/straight makes him automatically a shoe in for high positions without actually doing any shit except complain about his coworkers then he is in for a rude awakening. When he talks like this I just want to make him fucking think for a second of how stupid he sounds. He has no respect for anyone and that pisses me off. Everything is becoming pretty suck-y for me. I think I'll avoid the world for a while for a few weeks until my head is cleared. I also need to make/find a new persona. Guys i went to this awesome museum today (Getty Villa). Sadly, our chaperone was stupid and we didn't even see the whole thing. Even so it was a great experience and the whole place was really lovely. I kept calling it pretentious though (tbh aren't all art museums pretentious).

Alright, well, I sat through 50 minutes, b/c well, it's 50 minutes, who cares? Also, it's fucking Jim Morrison. That was possibly either the worst or best movie I've ever seen...

I tried watching it objectively, b/c if I watched it with Jim in my mind then I'd be like "This is the best thing ever." It's boring. Not gonna lie. If you're not one of those deep thinkers, then you'll be bored THE WHOLE TIME. Really, the best fucking part for anyone who is not a deep thinker is the credits at the beginning. Those were interesting. I liked them a lot. It's visually appealing. A lot of it is. For the deep thinkers though, this is everything. This is the meaning of life. Every scene can be linked to life (but then again, you can do that with anything. Ppl don't think too hard about that stuff though, so with this type of thing maybe they will.)

All in all, two standpoints on this. I'd never recommend this movie to anyone who doesn't like Jim Morrison...or experimental stuff.

Related to film...my mom kind of wants to buy me a nice camera. I have weird pictures in my camera, but she seems to appreciate my "artistry." I want to make a movie one day...like Jim. Jim majored in film studies and I want to major in that now, too...

lol apparently we have an artist in the family (mom's side) who likes to draw genitalia and sex scenes. My grandmother thinks something is mentally wrong with him and he's just doing it to be disgusting, not that it's actually art and that anyone who considers it art is disgusting/mentally ill (lol, I didn't find anything wrong with it, but I only saw one of the pictures. I mean it's shocking of course, but that doesn't mean it's not art.) It's only shocking to them because they're old, if they weren't that old (or close-minded) then maybe they'd take a deeper look into the art and appreciate it. My grandmother even went to the point of saying, "How are they not ashamed of having a son like that?" Lol, b/c maybe they like his art and think it's really amazing of him to pursue his dreams. =/

lol Miss Universe was not posted online. I'll just watch the preliminary thing tomorrow, for now the top 5 questions. lol, they all give such general answers that make them sound "smart" and majority loving. Of course, how else are you going to win? lol when some of them have easier questions compared to others it's like, "Is this on purpose or...???" lol then this one question for top 3. This one is better b/c they all get the same question. Miss Phillipines gave the best answer and she won, but before she won this happened. My friend had her 15th birthday party and since she's named after a Rolling Stones song (her dad's a musician) he sang it to her at the party. That's so sweet. <3

He also played Sleepwalk for her and she said she cried. That song is absolutely beautiful. Even i get emotional listening to it and I'm not an emotional person. I wish i could have been there.

I finally worked my first shift as a volunteer at an animal shelter and it was pretty cool! I did get tired with a lot of the work but spending time with other like minded people and fuzzy little animals really lifted up my spirits and made the experience enjoyable.

Worst part was that I found out I've got a slight fear of dogs...and when I tried to put a harness around it to go for a walk it flicked some of it's pee that it was standing on....onto my face! EWW.

So ever since our english teacher made us watch the GOP debate, I got super interested and I wanted to watch the Dem Debate, but I missed it, so now I'm watching it today. Lol, just ppl fighting. It's better than the GOP Debate, but perhaps that's because they don't have a bunch of ppl bickering compared to just 3 Dem candidates.

My mom is happy with this sudden interest. See she thinks I should be interested in politics (even though she's not interested in them lol) b/c it'll make me more well-rounded. Idk why she doesn't watch it with me, we'd have a great conversation.

My mom just told me that I'm the type of person ppl hate (probably true, I don't mind). She also said I'm going to have a ton of issues when I grow up and then I replied, "We only create our own issues." She got really mad. It's true though. I live in this world where problems are nothing. They're there and there's ways to deal with them, but happiness is above all. My sadness, my anger, my jealousy, none of that really exists. They're down there in the subconscious, but I somehow altered my state of mind. I used to be a really emotional person. About everything. Gradually it disappeared. I only want bliss, joy, you know happy emotions. Everything else can be there, but not used. Only in those very rare moments.

I think my family hates me occasionally. Like I'm part of the family, but in actuality they just bear with me. =/ I don't really matter to them. I'm just there b/c they have no choice. I wonder what it's like to actually be loved, b/c I don't feel it. I feel it occasionally, but love should be always, right? Whatever. It's not like I asked to be born. lol, here comes the "It's A Wonderful Life" moment where an angel comes to me and shows me how life would be different if I weren't born, except in my movie everyone would be a lot better off.

There was a point in my life where pretty much half of my family hated me. That was wonderful. I was kind of young, so it's not like I realized they hated me, but I've grown up and everyone tells me that that's what happened. I altered that memory. I guess it was traumatic for me, b/c I basically have no recollection of what happened during those days. I remember a few things, some sad, some not really, some totally insignificant, and some absolutely beautiful. Visually pleasing memories. Memories that I would like to relive. I think they were very adventurous, somewhat calming. I remember a lot of ppl coming and going and the place we were all at was magical. It was my fault though, that it even happened at all. I don't think anyone forgives me except the half that didn't really hate me. Not that the half that didn't hate me doesn't hate me now. Basically, at one point or another, everyone who knows me hates me. I'm just not a likeable person, or maybe I haven't found someone who truly likes me for who I am. I'm sure that person is out there somewhere. Maybe it's my soulmate.

Ugh, the Catholic Boy was supposed to give me his Skype, but he never did and so I kikked him and he didn't reply and now we're probably not going to get our essay done. =) I have another partner and I said to him, "Well, we can start it whenever you want," but I know neither of us is going to want to. The lame thing about this is that our stupid teacher told us we have to find at least one source from a magazine and a book. Like, who the fuck uses magazines or books as their sources?! How am I supposed to find shit about drug tests @ school in a magazine or a book? Idk why she didn't make the topics more heavy-hitting. Instead of "drug tests @ school" it should have been in support of or against "drug legalization." Lol, there used to be an abortion topic but she didn't like it (of course she wouldn't knowing her). But yeah, I think we should have had deeper topics.

Omg, we have to make a poster or video or something to accompany our presentation...omg...I kind of want to be funny with it. I know I'm going to be in charge of that, so I should start thinking now. This is effective. Just tell kids that drugs are bad...mkay? Well, honestly, the only flaw I see in my opponents, which would be the "supporting drug testing @ school" is that it isn't going to stop kids from doing drugs. The kids can deny the drug tests, so the drug users will deny them obvs. You just have to teach ppl it's bad. It's up to them whether or not they'll actually listen. =/ I actually see so many flaws in the supporting side. I mean it's a waste of time AND money. The ppl doing the drugs don't give two fucks and if they think it'll stop kids from doing drugs, I think not. I feel like the riskier things are, the more ppl want to do it. That's just my opinion. Lol, I wish I was this vocal in class and I might possibly have to be. See my partners are shy like me, but I'm still somewhat more talkative (esp. with this topic. Again, I would have been SO happy with our topic being about drug legalization, but for that one I'd rather be on the supporting side than the against side, not that I can't make a good argument for both). lol

OK OK I FOUND THE ONE WE CAN USE (ugh, as if I wanted to take things seriously). Well, see both of the sides goal is to say that being either in support or against our topic will make the number of kids who use drugs decrease, so our argument for that video will be, "Look at the simplicity of this video. Can we teach that through a time consuming test? Blah blah blah." I have it all down. We won't be using our essay for the actual debate, so I can wing this stuff. =) Pretty sure our sides going to win.

Well, idk, why SJWs love the topic of oppression, but they do. And they love to say that certain groups are oppressed and that's just not true (in Western World). Lol, so I replied to this girl's tweet saying, "Maybe we should stop telling people that they're oppressed?" and right off the bat she calls me ignorant. So I'm just like, "Wow, I'm ignorant because I don't think of anyone as higher than anyone else based off of things like skin color, gender, etc." We continue to have our conversation, somehow it becomes a thing of privilege and she says, "Yeah, there's a structure in society where the privileged have been violent against the oppressed." So I start saying, "Oppressed can hurt the privileged and vice versa. Also privileged can hurt privileged and oppressed can hurt oppressed. Why do you have to make it a group difference?" So she said that she was done with me and then the picture above was my final remarks to her.

Basically, when I was done with it all, I refreshed my page and all her tweets were gone. =/ Not sure why? She made a pretty good argument at some point. Now if someone looks through my profile, they'll see a one-sided conversation lol.

I remember on the main page there was talk about the bbs dying and a thread about posting why you'd be away for a while and for how long (if you wanted to share). And I remember saying something about being gone for a few months because of school and stuff, but it's been years. Really nostalgic coming back here, I even found a few of my old replies and stuff. Plus some familiar names and events and ideas. They were really some good times for me. I was thinking about maybe coming back every so often, but then realized that even though it looks the same it really isn't the same for me anymore. I don't think anyone who was around in 2012/2013 has actually stayed active for the last couple years; but hey if you're reading this and did, then props to you! This is so nostalgic, it's amazing. - I graduated in the school I never ever thought I'd ever enroll in.
- I got to know different types of people that I use to avoid.
- I'm finally re-evaluating my definition of 'friends'.
- I've got an ambition to pursue a career at laaast!
- For the first time in 4 years I got to feel an array of emotions.
- I learnt a lot about my father, how to cope with mum and my responsibilities in the family.

That feeling when school is about to start again.

I've been stressing too much over not being at the same stage in life as my peers when I'm not taking the same route as them in the first place. It's like comparing our maps for separate hiking trips and wondering why mine has turns theirs doesn't and vice-versa; there's no point in comparing it because, ultimately, what we're doing is completely unrelated.

Like, some of my friends have kids and apartments already, are years into college, etc. and I'm still self-educating myself and building a following online for all my projects. I *feel* behind. But I also know that I never intended to do anything they're doing. It's just not a part of my life's map.

But then how do I gauge my "success" compared to my peers if I'm not following the traditional lifestyle route? Money? Appearances? Experience? I'm failing in every theoretical category. I'd say to gauge it by satisfaction, but I'm the kind of person who'll never be satisfied no matter how far they get, so that's not a good basis either.

I dunno. I feel unaccomplished atm :| maybe I should just shut up and get back to work lmao /end_whining

Lol first thing my mom called me this morning was self-righteous. First insult of 2016 and many more to come. I hope ppl are more creative with it.

First conversation of 2016 was about how i fell off the bed when i was a kid and my mom thought she let me bleed to death. Turns out i was sleeping with chocolate (b/c why not) and i melted that with my body heat so when my mom woke up again she thought it was blood. Lol the thought that i almost died makes me laugh. I can never take that story srsly. Obvs if i was dead i couldn't laugh about it, but knowing me if i could i'd say, "I died as I lived: lame."

My mom and cousin were talking about love and they said you have to love more than one person or else you'll never know what true love is. I refuse to believe that! Why does one person's love have to be comparable to another's? The way other ppl have treated you compared to who you love should be enough of an answer. My perception of love is warped.

So a few days ago, when we were hanging out with my cousin's, we ended up talking about love. The topic came up about me having a boyfriend and I was kind of awkward. I don't really like to talk about it, b/c they start questioning me. I even said I didn't need that type of love in my life to be happy. Anyway, my mom was thinking about it today (not sure why, I think we were talking about them) and she said, "I wonder why they want to know if you have a boyfriend? Do you have one?" So I told her, "Not sure why, but no I don't have one. Why do you think they care?" My mom then replies, "Well, I think they want to know what kind of guy you'd attract." What that really means is they want to know what kind of guy I would go out with and how hot would they be. Lol, that's stressful to know that whoever I date is going to get judged based on that kind of thing. I told my mom that and she said, "Your good. They seem to think having a boyfriend is the most important thing, but just take your time." Blah blah blah inspirational stuff. Lol, I'm really such a fuck though. It bothers me a lot that they ask me about boyfriends, so next time I'm going to say, "Yes, I do have one. His name is Yale. He's really tall and rich and he's older than me (WAY OLDER). He's kind of a big deal. We have a long distance relationship though so it's kind of hard." I'm really a fuck, but seriously, if I remember I will say that, b/c I'm honestly sick of it. I don't care about love like that tbh. I mean it seems nice, but it also seems like something you either get or don't get. If I hate ppl gradually over time and over time ppl gradually hate me, then the person I'd love would have to be pretty special for me to keep liking them and vice versa. =/

Then when we got home, my mom started talking about guys cheating and I said, "Well, not all guys do that, I'm sure" and she replies, "All guys cheat." Now, I'm sure that's not true, but thanks for breaking my fucking heart. Now I see no happiness in love, so if I tie it back up to the first section of this, why the fuck would I even want to date if there is that fear?! Like, wtf?! They all cheat! Thanks! STOP RESPONDING TO RIGHTLY SAGED TOPICS DANGIT

I threw up at school today. The thing about throwing up is that it feels horrible and yet it feels great. The reason it feels great is because you know that something bad is coming out of your system, but it fucking hurts to throw up. I get teary after wards and my body trembles. =(

The reason i threw up was b/c we ran 12 laps during p.e. under 3 minutes each and continuous. Literally a 5 second break. It was basically torture. By the 7th lap i was dead and by the 10th i felt like puking, but i held it in and then once we reached school i couldn't hold it anymore.

I would say it's my teacher's fault for making us overexert ourselves, but at the same time i know that I have malnutrition. I hardly drink water (I'm going to drink loads of it today), I don't eat a lot, the food i do eat usually isn't healthy, and i don't take vitamins. =( I got really dizzy and felt like collapsing a few times. It wasn't a great experience for me.

I asked my mom to buy me Gatorade and to pick me up early. She's going to pick me up, but I'm not sure if she's going to buy me Gatorade. I usually feel much better when i drink Gatorade when i get sick so i hope she buys it. If not mineral water is the next best thing. =)

My fifteenth birthday was yesterday and it was the most normal birthday I've ever had and it's terrible to see your 'special' days become indifferent. My mom complained to the school. =( Now the vice principal is going to call me out of class tomorrow. I can't wait to hear the BS excuses I'll receive. I just want to be done with it. "Well, the states wants you to..." BS! The state has certain standards we have to reach, but I doubt being able to run 12 laps consecutively without time to rest is one of them. My head still fucking hurts. Now I'm going to do homework and my head's going to hurt more and I just can't even with school anymore.

The only thing I hope is that all I have to do when the VP calls me in is to just state my case and that's it. I don't want her to keep pulling me out of class and if she HAS to do it tomorrow, I'd prefer 4th period. I really just want her (and the school esp. my p.e. teachers) to realize that P.E. shouldn't be as hard of a class as they make it for us. That's not a class we should be stressing over (esp. if their goal is to get us into college. Some fucking colleges don't even look at your p.e. grade) and so many ppl do, so they need to realize there's obviously a problem with their curriculum.

Omg, I love Yale even more! So as of now, I've attended 3 presentations. They generally say all the same things but the additional things they talk about are great. I really like the residential colleges thing they have going on over there, b/c it truly is a sense of community. ALL THE COLLEGES ARE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER WITH AN UNDERGROUND TUNNEL OMG!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I read about it before, but it was better hearing it from a student that goes there. They say it's really fun (well, obvs they would say that b/c they want us to consider their school), but it really does sound like fun. Apparently, on your first day, the upperclassmen take all your stuff to your room as a welcoming gift and then there's like a party afterwards. Me: EXCITED! And they go on lots of trips there, too.

One of the guys presenting said that his dad forced him to sign up for Yale, three hours before the deadline and he was amazed that he got in. XD

One of the seniors who attended the presentation apparently got asked to go have an interview at Yale. Dude, it'd be awesome if someone from my school got accepted, b/c then I'd be motivated even more to get in.

I hate how some of my teachers don't even try to help me, even when I email them. I have emailed my English teacher many times over the year about my selective mutism, but not once did he try to help me with it. In fact, he's just pushing me harder to speak which in turn only makes it worse. And now he has us doing a group project as the first grade for the semester and he put me in a group of people who I am unable to talk to.

With how many times I've emailed him and not gotten a response, it would be useless to try again. I don't know who I'm supposed to turn to now to get help. I'm here stressing out about my grade and education and he couldn't care less. He's even admitted that he just plays video games instead of answering emails. He's so childish.

Man, I wish my dad would just realize my selective mutism is way worse than his ever was and that I really do need therapy or medication. Just something. It'd be easier than trying to deal with this teacher and it'd help me more in the long run.

I just lost all the writing I've done over a few weeks after having a minor breakdown. What a great way to start off a night.

I need to re-evaluate my favorite color. I need to write again. I need to find out if I want to write with the same thing, or should I hand-write it? I don't want to do that.

She was really nice about it, but at the same time I don't understand why they make us run so hard. I go to a school that focuses on math and science, not math and science plus physical education, too.

Semester is almost over. I can start over on a blank sheet and I can work towards getting better grades that will help me out with Yale. =) Everything I do is for Yale now lol. If I can at least get in, then maybe I'm not a waste of space.

I'm already thinking of which classes I'll try out for next year. If they don't have AP Bio next year, I'm going to try out for AP Physics. I'll try out for AP U.S. History, A.P. Language (or Literature, not sure which one the juniors get) and I automatically get AP Spanish, b/c I'm a "native" speaker. 4 AP classes? =/ Too much? NO! I wanted AP Calculus for senior year, but the way our school is being, I probably won't be able to unless I sign up for something online before the second semester ends or a summer college course. =( Dammit Common core, I hate you.

I feel like maybe I should get off all the websites I consistently use, so I can focus more on homework. I might for Lent this year. ugh...that's the one thing I didn't really want to give up, but maybe I have to.

The Catholic Boy and I were talking today and he brought up our last history class. Basically, we were looking at art from the Renaissance, so of course there was nude stuff. Our teacher made a funny comment: "I guess if you feel like this is pornography you can always close your eyes." Catholic Boy and I looked at each other and laughed. I guess he's fine with me making fun of his innocence lol. So today he said, "It wasn't even that big of a deal. We even saw it on our field trip to the art museum." Why is it that humans are the only species on Earth that can create, understand, and ponder over concepts? We have created various systems based on such concepts and expanded upon concepts. Maybe it is just that animals actually understand more than I believe. Can animals create a deeper meaning and understanding, or do they only rely on instinct and emotion, and lack an understanding of the world they see around them? What is the perspective of an animal? Are their thoughts more complex than I initially assumed? Why do people try to create more concepts behind things like animals, people, and landscapes when there is no objective value? In fact, thinking about this would also be included as concepts, as well as every word I type in this comment, and this website, and complaining about other people. Annoyance is a concept humans built upon and we have created a different meaning and perception of it than an animal would. In fact, animals would not be thinking about annoyance in the first place.

BUT I just found out why they took away his verification. Clementine Ford strikes again (or at least her influence does lol). Humans have yet another layer of the mind, covering up their true, natural instincts. I think this is what may cause this extra complication you speak of. It's a natural covering up of them, making us sort of disgusted at the thought of being anything close to the animals we have evolved from. Our thoughts are the same underneath, same basic needs (food, security, sex) but since we have been taught all of this information on how to use these tools, we strive to use them to better satisfy those same basic needs. This, in addition to the disgust toward uncivilized behavior, may make us have a bias toward what may seem intelligent (or insightful) and create this illusion that animals are extremely dumb beings by not knowing things we use in everyday life. It's funny, now with this technology we have created we are beginning to disprove the theory that anything other than human is unintelligent.

Animals do not have this layer and accept their nature. While of course they have smaller brains and do not have this conceptual knowledge, we do not give their instincts or thoughts enough credit. They do not lack an understanding of the world around them, as some are much more resourceful and witty than many humans (some animals being manipulative of humans and other species to get their needs). Even though they are not super geniuses or have complex thoughts as you suggested, a lot of animals are much more complex than just acting on "food, security, sex" mindlessly, as if not they are unlikely to survive. Their thoughts function in a different way than us.

"Homosexuality." That's always been a big thing, but I don't see why. I guess it has to do with the fact that God made Eve for Adam, so woman was made for man. Also, sodomy is disapproved of, so you literally can't be gay without engaging in that if you have sex. That's why it's looked down upon, but it's stupid to me b/c if God wants us to love everyone why are gay people bad. God makes everyone the way he wants them to, so obviously their isn't anything wrong with them. u_u

"Feminism." The Bible shows patriarchal beliefs mostly, but I guess because feminism encourages homosexuality, premarital sex and basically sex, dressing however you want, abortion, and much more against the Bible, thus, feminists will burn in hell. =/ It makes sense, but still, by their rules they're supposed to love everyone and they're obviously not doing that.

While on the topic of religion. We also learned about flagellation in class today. Ugh...why would anyone think that salvation is through self-harm? Why would God want you to hurt yourself? There's even parts of the Bible that say specifically not to self-harm yourself. That's why cutting and suicide are looked down upon. Ppl take their religion to the next level.

I learned a lot in class today. We were learning about Martin Luther and see the first time I'd heard of him in 7th grade, I also started changing my view of religion. I'd been begging my mom to take me to church since I was eight, b/c that's when I read the Bible again. And then I read it again when I was 10 and I begged her and begged her and we finally went when I was 11. It was cool, but after a while it gets boring. Someone else is literally telling you how you should interpret things. It's good at times for clarification, but when they strictly want you to follow things that don't even make sense, then what even. You're technically not supposed to cut your hair (that story about the guy who got his hair cut and lost his strength...yeah, that's why), but ppl who read the Bible cut their hair anyway. =/ So yeah, why should anyone else interpret it for you?

Lol, so with that in my mind during class, a part about baptism came up and you know different branches of Protestant also think that baptism isn't needed and I finally realize that I don't need it. I also begged my mom to baptize me, because I wasn't baptized. Someone told me I was going to hell and I got really scared, but now I realize that if all it took was for me to get baptized to have a chance of getting accepted to heaven then that didn't make sense. Does that mean if I get baptized before I die, I automatically go to heaven because all my sins are forgiven? Obviously not. We'd all do that then. Baptism means nothing anymore...I hope my mom doesn't press the issue. After my continuous begging she started feeling bad for not having me baptized. I'd have to tell her that I no longer believe in Catholicism. I don't know how she'll take it. She's kind of leaning towards my side (lol, but mostly b/c we think the Pope is the Antichrist ) but I still think she'd take it the wrong way.

We also learned about indulgences. Paying your sins away. Ah, corruption of the Catholic church. Gotta love it.

Since no science can explain it (until we conceptualize it somehow, quite a funny connection) I think it's our evolution to use tools furthering our intelligence and making us less requiring to do those things animals do better than us (such as us using things like fire and clothing for warmth, not having to hibernate), of which gives us a lack of things to do but move forward in our tools to overall move forward in life. This requires more conceptualization power in order to create more complex ideas to more efficiently conquer our issues. Our evolution of this 'conceptualization' power has put us pretty high on the food chain, right? So basically, since we began using tools and making them more complex for our needs, there was more of a need for complex thought for us to evolve and conquer the threats in our environment.

Religion could be a result of our observance of the world around us and not knowing how exactly it works (for it is the only tool we use that we did not make), looking for a divine being as an explanation of how the world might be able to be explained in terms of mechanics.

Education is satisfying our yearning for knowledge so that we don't keep asking questions that have been answered before while we need to be moving forward, and so that we can keep up with the rest of the humanity in our urge to move forward faster and faster. We are taught these concepts such as numbers and things so we can be a part of our society and further have control over the world as a part of the human race. To have a universal language to move forth and create more tools to make our lives easier.

Careers are similar to when females in a pack of animals care for the young while the usually stronger and larger males hunt, just since we have a lot more that the human race needs done, there are more opportunities for humans to find the roles that they are fit for in society.

We write and read stories because if we only have a small, insignificant life, we won't be able to contribute to society and therefore be unable to make an impact for later generations of humans. Sort of like when animals' main instinct is to reproduce and/or survive. Reproducing is making something to live on later after the creature's death in the image of itself, and surviving is not dying at all and having the basic necessities of life. Stories put us in a place of power, making us believe we are having an impact if only for a short while, and putting us in the position of a character whose legend shall live for a long time (something in the character's image that lives on after death), and toward the end, normally, the character has plentiful things including food and overall happiness. In romance novels, well, love is sort of an illusion to get us to reproduce, in a short sense. Knowing that we don't have the goals of life to those extremes or view the means that we got it that clearly, we turn to stories for that satisfaction.

What is 'right' and 'wrong' is simply something pushed upon us by society, of which if we betray will not treat us kindly. We don't kill because of the people caring about them coming after us and harming us, we don't steal because of the animals' natural instinct to be territorial, we don't rape because of the instinct of love that ties us to one person telling us that we should only have one true mate (or multiple, because polygamy is also a thing, but still only the ones that the human loves either way) to be in that vulnerable state with. This instinct of 'love' is probably also in animals like penguins and swans. We follow these ideals because humans are social creatures, and our societies are very large and powerful. Guilt could be an emotion based off of that fact.

May be sound or not, don't really care because I was bored and didn't really have to think on it. Forgive the long post, being a smartass of sorts is in my nature. No matter whom (attempting to use whom in a sentence, hahaha!) or what or when or why or HOW. Funny thing is, we are also using our conceptual powers right now, are we not, 'le~?

Guys, I'm freaking out. I, awkward Lovely, just flirted (the proper way!!!) with a really hot guy. Like no way! I didn't even know I was capable of that. I thought i was too awkward to flirt. Usually i joke or make fun of a guy when i "flirt" but this was way different.

Here's how it went: I was subtly (and nothing i ever do around guys is subtle, so wow!) checking out this guy and i was thinking in my head, "Pls don't see me!" but then i noticed HE was checking me out too!!! I felt sort of weird because he had to be 20 something and he must have thought i was older than i am, but whatever that's that. It happened already lol. Anyway, my grandma is with me and then my family comes and we're both still checking each other out and he asked, "Are you related to them?" and I wad like, "Omg be cool Lovely" and I nodded my head yes. He then asks what my nationality is and I say, "Oh, I'm half-Mexican and half-Panamanian."

He then gets a huge smile on his face, "Really? That's funny you say that, because I am also Panamanian." So he tells me what it's like there but then our conversation ends b/c my family buys their stuff. They tell him thank you and we share one last glance and l say bye to him.

I get to do my student newspaper article on David Bowie this week! R.I.P. I'm going to be interviewing students on their thoughts about Bowie's death as well as asking them what their favorite song is. I'm really glad I get to do this.

So my Dad took us to Pakistan, the country where he was born. Last time we were here, he took us out a lot, we met a lot of distant relatives, ate some good food, he even took us and our cousins to spend a few days at some farmhouse or whatever that was. Some great times were had, and we were all excited to be coming back.

However, this time we're stuck at home 90% of the time because my Dad wants to do literally nothing. We're not allowed out without him because he reckons we'll get mugged or something, so most of our time is spent sleeping and watching T.V. He keeps going out without us, too, which just makes it more frustrating. We keep telling him this but he thinks we're just being ungrateful - after all, we were on a plane, how often do we get to do that?

We've been here for roughly half of our planned stay, and very little's happened, or is probably going to happen. It's turning out to be a giant drag.

I got 1160 out of 1520 on my PSATs and the results say I'm in the 89th percentile??? So is that good??? Like, it doesn't feel good enough to me. =/ I got much higher scores than the average, but does that mean I did good. If I were up against ppl in real life, would this be good enough for Yale? I know they changed the way the SAT works, but still I think I need to improve on it.

I surprisingly did better on my math portion than on my writing portion. All the questions I did get wrong were marked as "difficult" so I just need to see how I can improve on that. And they only have two portions now??? I guess they stuck both the writing/reading portions together??? The range is no longer to 800 either, it's to 760. Wow, so many changes. =/ How will this affect applying to college?

The report also says that I'm expected to fall under a higher range by the next year. Well, that's what I'm working towards lol. It's not actually a hard test. It's just the fact that it's timed that stresses you out. You have to learn the techniques for faster bubbling and faster elimination. Other than that, fairly easy test.

Well, I'm actually not beating myself up for once. My test scores seem pretty great to me actually! =)

Nice I have an A in Spanish, so GPA is 3.5 now. If only my P.E. grade and English grade could come up. Tbh, I deserve an A in P.E. b/c of the throw up incident. I can't bring it up based on what they are grading. Like how can you grade someone based on how fit they are? That's not fair. There's literally people who fail the class because they can't do a certain amount of push ups or run their mile in a certain amount of time, except they physically can't do that so it isn't fair. I can, but I've reached my limit. There's no way I can do a mile in under 9 minutes and I can't surpass 21 pushups. I managed to do 20 today. I think religion is good if you have a strong connection to whatever you're devoted to, but his parents are just scaring him and that's not teaching anything except fear of God. Hahaha, just spent like an hour fucking around with numerology so that my characters could have numerical symbolism and so that their star signs would accurately represent their relationships. People say it's a waste of time when it comes to writing, but honestly, I see symbolism as a whole other aspect of characters that is often ignored. Nobody's going to spot it in my story, but it'll sure as hell will feel satisfying to write, 'le~!

Oh, no, I just checked my math grade...We did this group quiz where she randomly chose one of the ppl in the group and well, we got an F on it. I'm really sad, because there's no way it's going to go up. I have a D (everyone has a D, b/c of the finals. We're not done with our finals for her class, we're taking one more test). Basically, even if I were to get a great grade on the last test, it will become a C grade instead of B like it was before. I'm going to have to check how the grades are weighted, b/c I don't want to get a C. I never get C's. Fuck, if she'd only chosen MY paper to grade we wouldn't have such a shitty grade.

Damn I wasted $140 just for an app. Its stupid, moronic and idiotic. If I get an actual lesson, I have to pay $800 per month. So I guess $140 per year is better. But what about me? I barely have time to do the tutorials because of my job, school, driving lesson, belly dancing lesson, volunteer work and.. I don't know sleep?

My job is 5x a week 8 hours per day=40 hours
School is 2x a week 3 hours per session=6 hours
Driving lesson is 1x a week 1 hour and 30 min.= 1.3 hours
Belly dancing is 1x a week 1 hour per session= 1 hour
Volunteer work(optional) 3x a week 3 hours a day= 9 hours
Sleep 6 hours/per day= 42 hours

Hours within a week= 168 hrs.
Total hours of activity= 99 hrs. 30 min.

Hmm.. I seem to have more time than I expected. Maybe I should just do a hour a day on the app and extend my sleeping time a bit. I'm also forgetting to input my travelling time but ohh well.. Its too tiring.

With the latest activity and extended sleep time for 2 more hrs.= 120 hrs. 30 min

So, I finally get motivated by my parents. My dad had encouraged me to work into animation(something I wanted to do, but really take my time to try out). He told me that he has a friend that works at Warner Bros that would show me around the place. I thought the characters were bland, just cookie-cutter generic characters. I found them uninteresting. I was bored the entire arc. Fight scenes didn't excite me, I didn't care about the characters, and I didn't like how they handled the concept of demons. Is this unreasonable? Does it get better later on? I didn't like a single thing about the arc I watched. None. Is it worth continuing? Not that I would continue it anyways. So much concepts. Again. I should type better sentences. Sorry. It just seemed like a show that received a considerable amount of hype (not that I catch up with any of the fans;I just saw a couple of comments about it online), so I got curious and actually watched an arc without skipping to the fanservice parts. Let me tell you, it was not worth it. I would consider watching some of the OVAs (I'll just skip around until I find sufficient fanservice), or rewatching the specials (I watched nearly all of them) but that's it. RTT: I've been having darker thoughts lately. I'm just kind of frustrated with some things, so I guess I can ignore it for now.

Lol so my mom and grandmother were gossiping this morning about the wedding yesterday (and what they were going to expect at wedding day #2!) when we ate breakfast, and I got kind of irritated by it, b/c that's all they ever talk about, *gossip gossip gossip* WHO THE FUCK CARES?! I understand little comments here and there about what someone was wearing or about what someone did that may have been a bit outrageous, but when they have to make it a whole "I can't believe they would do that!" kind of thing it gets annoying. Instant anger. lol, I probably shouldn't be like that...no one's ever going to like me if I'm like that. The thing about me is that even though I'm a self-righteous fuck, I'm still very modest about things. Even though I'm an asshole, I'm super nice. Even though I can say insensitive things it doesn't mean I don't care or that I don't try to understand others. Like, I guess you could say I'm able to balance things, but ppl always look for the worst right? I can never pls anyone anyways, so why bother. I'm living my fucking life however I want.

I forgot to mention yesterday while I was posting about the wedding that during the ceremony they were eating their bread and my mom said, "I really think we need to get you baptized" and I broke it to her that I don't want to anymore and she said, "What? Why?" and I said, "Well, because I don't think baptism is the way to connect to God. I should be able to without having to do that." She agreed with me, but she said it's still very important. If I were to ever get baptized, if and only if I feel really up to it, then I would get baptized much older than now. I'd really have to think about it. I wouldn't feel comfortable getting baptized while I'm still questioning. It's as if I was lying to satisfy everyone else. I also really don't want to get baptized in the Catholic Church, b/c of how corrupt I think it is. =( Why would I baptize myself into a religion I don't even appreciate?

While on the topic of religion though, this lady (well, it's my late grandfather's sister) brought me a cross from Jerusalem (it's blessed by a priest apparently). I guess, I don't know, ppl in my family who I hardly know only know what they know about me based on whatever my mom or grandmother tells them and I don't know, they think I'm very "special." I was sleeping at the party today, but I was still conscious of what was going on, b/c it was so loud and another lady (the daughter of the one who gave me the cross) said to my mom, "Your daughter is an angel brought into your life" but she sounded very serious about this, like I was someone's savior. =/ I feel like such a burden on everyone though. I couldn't be an angel. She said I was brought into my mom's life for a reason and that I was chosen for her and it freaked me out, b/c I just feel like maybe my mom deserves someone better than me. It's just so very strange to me. I don't really know how I feel about myself anymore.

If you do decide to get Banner Saga, it's on sale over on the Humble Bundle Store for $4.99. It's a beautiful game. I've played about an hour of it and it's a pretty interesting SRPG. I've been meaning to pick it up again. I've been distracted with other games that I picked up from Steam's Winter Sale like South Park: Stick of Truth and Torchlight 2.

My mom just got home and asked me if someone told me I was pretty today (you know cuz of what I was wearing) and I said, "Yes." So she asked me who and I replied, "A girl I know said that I looked hot." My mom then replied, "Is she a lesbian?" And I said, "Well, I don't know, she's a freshmen. My insomnia has been raging this week.

I felt guilt eating away at me this morning, then i got pissed, and now i feel like i a psychopath. A lot happened in first period today and i don't regret it but if I'd done what i have been thinking of doing ever since first period i'd be in the principal's office right now.

It's nothing crazy except well maybe it is, but i wouldn't regret doing it if i had. At the same time i feel no need to do it because she's not going to understand me. No one does. I'm going to go home today, do homework and write something embodying the situation.

Even though my actions that sparked the situation were wrong, which is why i felt guilty, her reaction was completely uncalled for, which is why I'm pissed.

My best friend ditched me at lunch today and I told my mom about it.
Me: I feel like everyone in this world is slowly fading. Like I'm moving so fast and they're just their fading away. It's all changing.

While we were talking (we were at a restaurant), there was a painting in the back near the bathrooms, or maybe it was the entrance to the kitchen for the workers. Well, there was a painting and in the painting there were two people dancing and I couldn't help, but think that with the angle they were at and all, that maybe they weren't dancing but gradually pulling away from each other and going their separate ways and this is how I feel everyday. Like I'm gradually pulling away from everything I once knew, from every person I once liked, and it is horrible and yet I enjoy it so much. I'm conflicted I guess. All I want the answer to at this moment is if there is something wrong with me.

I'm beginning to notice a large gap between me and my friends, like we can't tell each other anything anymore. ^ Speaking as a white kid who once looked for scholarships, it's pretty crazy how many are limited to minorities, especially if you live in states that have a lot of ghettos (like my darling Jersey). I get why they're a thing, but I do wish more scholarship money was based on merit and drive without being limited by... well, everything. From races to sexes to particular majors to particular schools to athletes to fans of this/that etc. etc. A ton of them are really oddly specific.

Discrimination as in there are still some places who will purposely reject somebody's application even if they meet the requirements just because of their race. Also that they can be look over and have less qualified people accepted instead of them. I'm not talking about "getting made fun of". That's not discrimination. That's bullying and isn't acceptable at all, regardless of race. If a white person gets made fun of, that's not okay. If a black person gets made fun of, that's not okay. Not racism, my friend. No matter how upset you get about it, it just isn't racism. White people don't NEED a scholarship just for being white. There's no white history month because in America, that's what's taught in history classes. We already know and learn about white history all the time, so it doesn't need a month. There's nothing wrong with having pride in your history, though. It just doesn't need a month. The other points you make are fair, but those are the views of extremist feminists. Yes, they are oppressed. Just because oppression hasn't happened to you directly doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's not really special treatment as it is helping them to get on equal grounds with those who are more privileged. Like I explained in my last post, it's a small headstart.

If they are poor, orphans, mentally ill, disabled straight A students, skilled athletes, etc. then they can totally get a scholarship for that. Now, I do think that scholarships for minorities should be limited. It isn't fair to give a full-ride scholarship to a black person just for being black. Say, if you're black and gay, you can only apply for ONE minority scholarship, not two. It makes sense.

In so many ways it just shows division being faced in this world for one, but it also shows how many ppl seem to have a problem with that "straight white male" getting the scholarship when there isn't a problem. If they're doing good at school, actually need it (because they're applying like they would for any other scholarship. I highly doubt that the ppl reading are going to give it to some highly rich kid), then who cares if the scholarship is geared towards them.

I woke up to this text and my day became instantly better. =)

It sucks knowing no one likes you except maybe like two ppl. =/ Everyone else hates me for obvious reasons. It's sinking in and I just start contemplating on whether anything I say is really worth it or if anything I'm doing is going to even make an impact or if my choices will amount to something. Then I just say fuck it, b/c even if I tried to be fake, agree with the mass majorities opinions, do what I know is ok or right or common, and make choices that aren't going to be weird, I still couldn't do it. I'd be even more sad than I am right now.

What a horrible 2016 for me lol. Well, I guess you could say that I have a new resolution: "How can I learn to stop caring?" I thought I didn't, but maybe because ppl have been repeatedly bashing me this whole week, it's finally begun to process in my brain. =/ Eye-opening? Inspiring? Life changing? I always take horrible situations to be like that. They're not useless. I think they happen for a reason.

I wish I was a dullahan so I could remove my head and I don't have to deal with the pain I'm currently having. Seriously, its so unbearably painful that my tears won't stop flowing. I don't understand why I have this pain. I don't smoke, drink alcohol, do drugs and I exercise regularly. My life is pretty lax so I don't really have much stress. I have a healthy life so why does it have to reoccur every now and then. I don't understand why it won't go away. I want to go to a doctor but I'm afraid what they might find. I don't want to be confined in a hospital bed. So please someone tell me everything would be ok.

One time, my brother said I was aromantic, or asexual when I told him I wasn't interested in relationships at all. He doesn't think I heard him.

Now I'm thinking, and I know that I'm definitely not. If I could find someone just like me, I would jump at the chance to be with them. We could stay together and everything would be ideal. I'm not looking for complete unconditional love because a relationship like that wouldn't last for me. I'd get bored (makes me sound terrible). Love would be fine, but hate would too (both earn their keep. My feelings are conditional).

I just need someone to obsess over, and if the person is just like me, they'd be looking for that too. It'd be perfect with the two of us, and we could live on the outskirts of some city, by ourselves. We wouldn't do anything, we wouldn't show too many gestures of affection, or even say 'I love you'. We'd just be by each others' side.

But I doubt that I would ever find someone like that in my lifetime so that's why I'm not interested. I'm not even going to try if I'm not 100% sure I could be with them.

May sound pathetic, but that's me. I think I had a small moment of enlightenment while typing this.

The number one thing I hate that my school has taken away from me was the ability to read. I rarely have time to draw, but hey, I still get some assignments from time to time to do that. I frequently have time to write stories/opinion articles/poems, but what I noticed is taken away from me is reading. I mean it's all you do in school, but it's not the same thing as actually picking up a book and having the whole day to finish the whole thing with my school. =/

The music is really bad, but they might have a different set of students DJing. The venue is much better than last year's, but I have this feeling they won't let us roam throughout the whole place. OMG and the video they filmed to promote it SUCKS!!! I would show it to you, but then you'd not only know what school I go to, but also the location of the venue...so??? But yeah, it was really lame. My mom has this really old rose that my dad gave her. It's super stiff and light brown and I just ask her why does she even have it and she says because my dad gave it to her.

I always thought giving flowers was like the cutest thing, then at some point I started thinking it was a waste of money because they die anyway. Then I started feeling like roses/flowers were a true representation of a relationship. Ugh, so I don't feel too good about school tomorrow. I have 1st period again and I just don't want to feel paranoid. I literally felt her staring daggers into me last class for doing what I did. She looked at me like I was a disgusting excuse of a person. Or I was taking things too srsly. Either way I'mm not ready.

In better news, tomorrow is the first day of the music programs winter session =) New teachers means = new (hopefully rad) songs. Also in good news, my mom said we were going to Knott's Berry Farm on Saturday. It's tradition to go every year during the Christmas season, but since our relatives were here and the day we wanted to go wasn't valid (my mom gets a discount for where she works) we had no time to go. Now we hate going on the weekend, but I really don't care. When it's packed it's not as enjoyable BUT it's the family experience that matters. =)

I have a burn mark. It doesn't hurt at all, but just knowing it's there bothers me.

My mood has went up a few notches, so that's an upside.

I wish my kittens would stop shedding all over the place. I wish I had the energy to brush them.

I have the the first day of the new term tomorrow, and my brother does as well. He went to sleep around 6pm because he was tired from waking up early, and at 8:20 pm, he suddenly got up and shouted "WE'VE GOT SCHOOL TODAY!" I was confused for a second, looked at the calendar, then realized he was a bloody idiot. I'm still laughing.

The throbbing pain I felt on my head the other went away, though it lasted for a few days. I felt this pain before but it wasn't really that painful. So if it comes back again I would go straight to the doctors. I thought I still have to suffer for it till sunday since I have double shifts on one job and have another shift on my other job, basically I would be screwed. But when I woke up, I felt really refreshed. The nauseous and dizziness went away. Except for the fact that I caught my sister's flu. Well its just dry coughs for now and its really inevitable since she's my room mate. I just wish it doesn't turn to any more worse.

First day of music class was so great! =)

One of our former teachers from last year came. I didn't know it was him, because he grew out his hair, but it was him lol. So, he was really cool about things and since only two of us from last year were in, we shared a few laughs. He's very funny lol, that's why everyone liked him originally. He made witty/sarcastic jokes on the spot.

He had a Joy Division sweatshirt on (with the Unknown Pleasures album cover obvs) and just seeing that really makes me want to buy one or a T-shirt or a tank top. Anything. I need one. =) I need more band shirts honestly.

but when literally over 100 posts in the thread are yours, only a small percentage of them are conversational/involving other people, and the thread's not even halfway filled yet, that's kind of a problem

people use the random thought thread for random thoughts. Most of which result in some kind of feedback or conversation.
What you tend to post are not random thoughts, but detailed paragraphs about your daily life, sometimes back to back to back, pushing other people's...you know, actual random thoughts right off the viewable three. As Anon said, it's impossible to just ignore your posts because they're here so constantly.

which is irritating to many of us because the content of your posts is essentially perfectly fit for a blog and you've shown us several times that you have one. It's necessarily that we dislike you - I can't speak for everyone, but I personally don't have any beef with you as a person.

But the ceaseless posting is becoming a bit much.

Solution: write these posts on your blog. People who are interested will read them, and like I do with my writing interests, sharing links to more important articles or lengthier blog posts here on the RTT every so often is fine. Win/win. This doesn't have to become a hassle.

I had my first experience of getting drunk on a plane a couple of months ago and it was god awful. Everything is uncomfortable and sticky all at the same time. You want to sleep but sleeping makes it worse. - 5/10.
