Although that IS one of the reasons it was made, it's completely impractical to do so as until we get into people's heads about posting duplicate threads is bad everything just gets bumped off by the 248th through to 255th duplicate thread on states in the USA.
Basically, until Countries gets cleaned up and people stop being complete fucktards regarding posting practices, meetups regarding cons or other events where people are likely to actually cross state borders are fine here.
