Walls and walls and walls of text. If I have said it once here, I have said it a thousand times here. I mean this in a literal, yet exaggerated, sense. I have found it necessary to repeat myself because there are too many similar threads. I have already posted what I think in
this thread, but I'l quote it for you.
Here is my first post, "I do kinda see where both sides are coming from. There are three threads covering the exact same thing with similar titles right next to each other on the missions board, but having comments like "this is void because we already have this thread" or just plain cussing someone out and calling them an idiot because it is a copy thread isn't necessary. I think that there needs to be further break down within the threads like some sites have in order to prevent reposts because, fuck it's hard to search through hundreds of different threads to see if you have the same idea that a thread on the very bottom of the page had. It takes time that some people simply don't have to be on the computer."
That post shows my ignorance when I wasn't here that long. I would like to point out that many of the issues that I said in there were fixed once I had read the
FAQ. Some of the rules are general knowledge, so I didn't have an issue with them. Duplicate threads, wrong board, and horrid spelling and grammar are all huge 'no nos'. That is just common sense. People who don't have common sense need to find some. It's really easy to avoid the duplicate issue, and you'd know had if you read the FAQ. You'd have to be an idiot to post on the wrong board. Nobody is asking for perfect spelling and/or grammar. Min is terrible, but you understand what I am saying in my post. When you see a post with no punctuation, capitalization, and/or spelling you'll understand. There is no way to decipher those posts, AND there are people here that speak english as a second language and still manage to have their post make more sense than some of the crap I've seen here.
Here is my second post on that thread. "I have only been here for a few months, and am getting tired of duplicates, trolling, wrong sections, and etc. Not only that, but some people just start bitching when they get told they're wrong. Since these things are daily occurrences, I figure if someone notices me being an ass to someone for being an idiot, then they'll be scared to repeat the stupid mistake. Therefor they don't make the mistakes. I'm getting pissed about people being idiots when I learned how to navigate this site in a few minutes. I was new to the bbs experience and still caught on quickly."
You see the knowledge and enlightenment I had when I read the FAQ? I had not been here very long when I made that post, and I was still tired of the common issues here. You can't just be cheery and nice when correcting these issues five times a day. You get tired of it.
