Description from TV Tropes (since I like it better than Wikipedia):
Infinity Train is an animated Science Fiction anthology series created by Regular Show storyboard artist Owen Dennis and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Each season revolves around events on a mysterious, seemingly endless train in the middle of a vast wasteland on which troubled individuals suddenly awaken to find themselves as reluctant passengers. Now sporting a strange glowing number on their hand, these people have no choice but to make their way through the worlds and puzzles presented by each car in order to find a way home.

There's 4 seasons so far with ten 11-minute episodes each. It has good animation and voice acting, great plot pacing and storytelling, nice mix of humor and lighthearted stuff with the drama and action. The world building is great and yes, I did cry at times. All of it is available on HBO Max or whichever website you stream cartoons on without paying lol.

It's just a really good cartoon and I would recommend it if you haven't seen it yet!

Oh, I remember this one!

I've seen the pilot episode way back in the day and got hyped, but never heard any news about it after that. I should watch some of them this weekend lol

Finished season 1!

A bit disappointed when I noticed each episode was only 10 minutes, it also felt rushed. They could've jammed so much more lore and content if the runtime was 25 minutes like normal shows, and that punch on episode 8 could've been much stronger if only.

Still though, am excited on how they're going to follow up the series in season 2 3 4.

Yeah, I would've loved it if the episodes were longer too (since I just want to keep watching it), but it didn't feel rushed to me. Maybe since I knew each episode was short? I did end up binging all four seasons in like one day and I kinda just absorbed all of it.

I think the lore is being given a little bit at a time on purpose. The creators originally planned for 8 seasons so you're not supposed to get too much from just the first one. Each season gives more backstory/lore and they show up in different contexts. Right now, Cartoon Network apparently cancelled after season 4, but fans are still hoping at least season 5 gets made eventually since the series is so critically acclaimed.

I thought Tulip would somehow onboard the train again or something when I saw the ending. So I peeked at the next season's cover, turns out the show is about the train itself starring a new character.

Oh well, The Infinity Train alone can still keep me at edge anyways. Will update once I finished another season.

Yeah, it's a common thing people don't know about the show unless they look stuff up. After the first season, everybody assumed Tulip's story would continue since nobody knew it was an anthology series with different protagonists (but the same setting) each season. Makes sense though since it'd be kinda messed up to end up on the train over and over again...

Man, that twist was awesome. So in the next season, the cart griefers are going to try getting off the train?

On my way to season 3!

But isn't it stated that a passenger couldn't board the train once they got off? How did they do it at the end there?

Binged season 3 and 4, man that was a roller coaster. The 3rd was intense, while the 4th has a very unique plot point to it.

I wonder if they'll at least wrap up the false conductor and the anomaly's story in the next season.

>>7 He was able to get back because even though he solved his initial issue, getting off by himself became a new hangup for him so the train brought him back.

>>8 Same! I need at least the conductor and anomaly stuff to be continued! The creators said season 5 would center around those characters, but as of now we don't know when it'll happen :(

I read somewhere that the creator even wanted to make a movie of the conductor's story, but the higher ups says that it wouldn't appeal to the younger audiences they were targeting so it was put on hold indefinitely.

Here's to hoping there would be a comic version at the very least.
