I would say mine is Disasterous life of saiki k as well , black butler, sakamoto de suga ,Oyama kun is a clean freak, kumo de suga nani ka , dr stone etc. Duarara is more of my thirst /ship game anime lol

Haruhi Suzumiya, School Rumble, all three Kizumonogatari movies, FLCL, NIchijou, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

Saiki-K definitely a good comedy but I have gone on the Gintama grind and its certainly a wealth of comedy episodes one after another, aside from that my top 5 comfy has to be:

Haruhi is good but the 8 ep loop was quite the bold move but the movie was phenomenal truly. and yea Nichijou is gold

I second or third or fourth that Hyouka, Daily Lives of High School Boys, Ouran High School Host Club, Tamako Market, Nichijou, Nozaki-kun, Kino's Journey, Silver Spoon, and K-On are all great comfort anime!

Meisaku-kun!, Danganronpa (all of them), Dakaichi (it's a yaoi btw), Happy Sugar life, panty and stocking (the dub is better), Naruto, Saikin imouto ga okashinda, Jibaku shounen hanako-kun (it's my favourite anime/manga so far) Quintessential Quintuplets, Mekakucity actors, Miyamuta-kun to hori-san, the devil is a part timer, Little witch academia, Puricure, Shounen ashibe, Doraemon, anpanman, Tokyo Mew Mew, and one punch man!

In OP's words, it's to share anime that "make you feel good and safe". Trash anime can easily be somebody's comfort anime. Doesn't have to be good to bring someone comfort. :)
