Hey, so actually, recently I've written an article for my school journal about Makoto Shinkai and at some point wondered: is Your Name better than Weathering with you?
Personally, I watched Weathering with you in the theaters so I guess it impacted me more, although for me they're equally great.
What do you guys think?

I haven't really watched Tenki no Ko, so I'd be more biased towards Your Name. Though I remember this one review from someone in MAL that said the antagonist doesn't really make sense or something, but I knew no better.

I've watched both and loved both of them. I watched Weathering With You in the theaters too, but even so, personally, Your Name impacted me even more. There's just something to it, with the music and all and the lessons they talk about that really made me feel very happy and nostalgic at the same time. Maybe it's also because Mitsuha's and Taki's relationship reminded me of a long distance relationship, which is what I'm going through as well. I guess it felt kind of relatable for me. Idk, I definitely loved both movies, but I still think Your Name is better <3
