Technically speaking, I did grow up watching Pokemon and Yugioh, but I just thought it was cartoons, I didn't know it was anime.
But the first actual anime I watched fully (and obsessing with) was Vampire Knight. That was my opening door into the anime world! ^_^

I do remember watching Pokemon and Yugioh when I was a kid on Sunday mornings but I didn't know that was anime, for me it was just cartoons at the time. I came to know about anime in high school (back in 2013) and my first official anime was Vampire Knight which I completely loved and even cosplayed as the main character, and then it was followed by Black Butler which is still my favorite anime and manga. It's been 8 years and I'm still reading the manga on going, waiting each months for a new chapter xD
