Kill la Kill is one of the first anime I watched beyond the large digital box we call television, the art style also gave that 90s look. The way their technology is depicted with screens that looked almost similar to the traditional calculator's dark green background also helps, it introduced us to an interesting and unique retrofuturistic themed world. (Pretty sure its called retrofuturistic, correct me if I'm wrong lol)

Another nostalgic anime that also got a special place in my heart would be Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. If my memories are correct, this one is straight up on my watchlist right after Kill la Kill at the time. Boy do I get a roller coaster of emotion with this one, and also unseiso thoughts in some parts of the series lol. But the

Oh, and I would have to put Sakamoto Desu Ga on here as well. While I watched this one on TV, I found myself a bit later digging around the internet to find the first few episodes because Animax is well on their way to airing episode 5 or 6 when I'm exposed to this deep dark hole for the very first time. Also remembered I used to search theories about what Sakamoto was supposed to be or what happened to him at the end of the series. The ending song also really slaps man, I haven't listened to it since the start of 2020 but I can surely say that it leaves a lasting impression on me.

Well I don't remember many of the top of my head but Naruto and Bleach definitely make me feel nostalgic because they were the first anime I watched knowing they were anime

Being the first anime I ever watched, Pokemon is probably the most nostalgic for me. I watched it with my siblings when I was around 8, and it really takes me back to the early days of anime (lmao I sound so old. This is more in terms of animation mainly). Nowadays, the art style and animation is (for the most part) alot smoother and nicer to look at than an anime from 10 or so years ago. And although I *do* mostly prefer the newer animation styles, the older ones have a charm to them that just can't be replicated in the newer animation. But apart from the nostalgic art style, the Guess that Pokemon! (of course I had to include this lol) really brings back memories xP
