There's a 6 episode OVA of an anime called Golden Boy that features a well meaning and perverted protagonist on his travels to learn more about the world. https://myanimelist.net/anime/268/Golden_Boy
The animation is old but in a charming and not dated kind of way. It does get pretty ecchi at times but is consistently funny and has a surprising amount of heart - I'd defo recommend if you haven't seen it already :)
