Over the Garden Wall is an American animated television miniseries created by Patrick McHale for Cartoon Network. The series centers on two half-brothers who travel across a strange forest in order to find their way home, encountering odd and wonderful things on their journey.

I know this isn't anime, but it really is worth a try. It takes certain elements from folk tales, old cartoons and earlty 20th century sounding music. It can even be pretty of scary at certain points.

It's the perfect show to watch on halloween. This show really is something. The backgrounds are beautifully painted and this is like nothing we've ever seen before in modern day cartoons.

Bump. I completely forgot this existed. It is definitely worth it. I watched it all in like two days.
