Disclaimer: as i'm using the dollars app i cant seem to use the find in page option so idk if there is another thread of this but i couldnt find in the first 200 so here we go....btw SPOILERS


Anyway lets get to it, today i watched the final episode of the newest monogatari series season called "koyomimonogatari" and it was.....INCREDIBLE

the episode was very well paced and the music in the background built up so much tension my heart was racing.....now some explanation

in this episode gaen talks to araragi about the dire situation the town is in and the conditions which led to the dissappearence of kagenui, now from what i understood their plan was to take kagenui out of the picture so that ononoki wont be receiveing any more orders and will be forced into two choices 1)to be completely useless to araragi as she is not ordered to protect him
2)is to act on her human nature and protect araragi despite being not ordered to do so but that will force her to not act like an abberration or an oddity and thus be swallowed by the darkness

this method has been used multiple times before by the same "someone" who is trying to isolate araragi from his people by trying to 1)separate him and ononoki by taking kagenui out of the picture but also by having tadatsuru (tsukimonogatari) kidnap suruga and the fire sistersnto push him and ononoki apart

a similar method was also used to 2) separate him from nadeko by turning her into an oddity

that certain "someone" seems to be trying to isolate araragi and force him into making some action that neither him nor i know what it is....however by reading the Light novel (didnt read past koyomimomogatari so dont worry about future arcs spoilers) i spotted an interesting line by gaen saying "you know i actually waited to the last possible moment to do this, i waited till your finals but if i let you graduate the CONDITIONS surronding your actions will have been cleared and you will be able to act on your own and i cant afford that" now i dont know what that means but its intersting
