Depends, some may consider it an anime, some may not. I personally don't consider anything made in the United States as an Anime.

This is the same argument that The Last Airbender series has. Allow me to break it down for you: A) Anime is only from Japan or B) Anime is an animation style and it doesn't matter where it came from.
