The Matsuno sextuplets (leader Osomatsu, wannabe tough guy Karamatsu, straight man Choromatsu, cynical Ichimatsu, cheerfully stupid Juushimatsu and lovable spoiled Todomatsu) are now in their 20s, still living together in the same house as NEETs. Their neighbors still include such eccentric characters as fish market idol Totoko, loud bucktoothed troublemaker Iyami, tiny rival Chiba, wacky inventor Dekapan, and giant mouthed glutton Dayon.

Join the Matsuno siblings as they overcome mundane hurdles in their daily lives, such as finding employment, figure out who should pay the bar bill, and who should get the extra pastry!

just little background story, the story in my own words, and then my own opinion in the show:

Osomatsu-San is a gag anime that was born in celebration in Fujio Akatsuka's 80th birthday (after his death in 2008), and basically, these six, s̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶, sextuplets look for a way to do stuff for the rest of their adulthood. Again, this is a gag anime, so these small skits don't really contribute to the "doing shit they want to do" but instead these episodes are split in different and hilarious short skits with various side characters too.

You like random shit like Gintama (random fact is that the director, Yoichi Fujita , is the same director of Osomatsu-San XD), this anime is definitely your choice.

Btw, I've sold my soul to Karamatsu and Ichimatsu.

I only watched episode 1, and its full of parody...

Some skits are better than others, but overall I really enjoy this show and look forward to it every week!

At the beginning I thought it would be a huge pain to differentiate the boys (using just the voices is impossible for me), but it's not really that hard. They get they character defined after a few episodes. Also if you pay attention the lines in their hair are all a slightly different color! So even when they're not dressed in clothes that makes them recognizable you cans till tell if you squint a bit!

ooh, Osomatsu-san!! I love this series! Jyushimatsu is my favourite<3

jk. This series is freaking hilarious, Jyushimatsu is also my favorite..... no, everyone is my favorite, it's so hard to choose ;~; Though I find myself liking Karamatsu and Ichimatsu a bit too much.... it's really hard to choose a favorite though <3

After watching Osomatsu-san it quickly became one of my favorite shows. Anyone looking for something to watch should try it out

This show is... Insane.
When I first started it, I didn't expect something that legendary. I mean, all of the characters are unique in their own way, the conflicts, the interactions between them is so genuine, the art style is making the anime even better, the siyuu THE FUXKING SEIYUU are the ones that are the best in their field... What do I say more?
Osomatsu-san is that kind of anime in which you laugh, cry, get scared to death or get irritated but have fun at the same time. You simply enjoy it, there's nothing more.
It is a masterpiece. A masterpiece that I'm thankful for.

Oh and yeah, the ending was troll at its best lol. But it is the Matsu-style, so I was satisfied. They left an open door for season 2 after all.

I recommended every single one who read this to watch that show. It is that one you'll never be able to recover from its awesomeness.
