Ok so this message may be abit long but I have 3 things to talk about Madoka Magica.


1. so there has apperently been a new trailer released for Madoka Magica Movie 4: Atonement which continues after Rebelion. It's a bad quality, no subtitled trailer that looks like it would be a promising movie. The trailer also shows the regular animation and 2 new characters. Both frames are close ups of the faces so I can't tell to much but from what I can see,

Homura obtains Sayaka, Kyoko and Mami's Soul Gems, Sayaka points her sword at Madoka's face but from how the eyes look, she is being controlled. The 2 characters from earlier have slightly different animation but one is a girl with long dark yellow hair and dark red hair. They just may be controlled Mami and Kyoko but I'm not to sure and the dark yellow hair is t the same style as Mami's so I wouldn't say. At the end of the trailer, the date to be released or whatever was "2016.9", someday in September. The video was intact made by SHAFT but it was released on April 1st (fools) and everyone isn't too happy. I have a 66% feeling that it is intact a joke but a 34% chance feeling that the release date is the joke and the creator is just joking or whatever but what bothers me is that I thought that Japan was 1 day ahead of us or something so when they released it, it wasn't on April 1st. I'm really hoping that's the case.

2. This may be the true trailer but it was recorded along with an audience even though I can't find anything about it. I couldn't really tell what was happening so I'm sorry if I have nothing else to support this fact

3. I don't know if this is true but I think the people who made Madoka Magica also made Bakemonogatari even though many things are different including the animation. There's something going on about an Expo i think but it's called Magigatari or something. I don't know if it's some event, a crossover, a movie or whatever but I would like to have some more info about these 3 things if anyone has any info.

I noticed when Homura did it the first time but all the others just slid by me unnoticed. And I wouldn't bother watching Beginnings (1) and Eternal (2) since there just the series but shorter and I think newer animation and Rebelion (3) is really confusing but really good

I see. It was just an online art exhibit that they did last year for their 40th anniversary. It more or less just had sketches and art that you could scroll through on their website. That's a bit anticlimactic.
