As for the past two years no one apparently felt like making a proper thread for this.
Imma take the chance:

GatchaMan Crowds is an anime series (Based off of the original 1972 anime series, "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman") produced by Tatsunoko Production and directed by Kenji Nakamura.
The anime is set in the early summer of 2015 in the city of Tachikawa, Japan. A "second metropolis" of Tokyo. There, protecting the city from various "alien criminals" of sorts are a group of said warriors who call them selves The "Gatchaman". The Gatchaman fight in special reinforced suits powered by "NOTE," the manifestation of special spiritual powers in living beings. (A council has scouted a group of individuals with latent powers to protect Earth from alien criminals. In recent years, the council has assigned Gatchaman warriors to deal with the mysterious entity known as "MESS.")
The story begins Following the introduction of their newest member, the energetic and cheerful Hajime Ichinose, and her slow influence on the principles of the Gatchaman and the Gatchmen themselves starting with "befriending" a MESS. And following that tom foolery The Gatchaman find out about a new alien that they must deal with "Berg Katze". An enigmatic alien creature bent on destroying Earth just like it did with several other planets in the past.

GatchMan Crowds Insight
One year after Berg Katze is stopped, the CROWDS system developed by Rui Ninomiya, a computer specialist who also becomes part of the Gatchaman, has spread among the Japanese society, shortening the gap between the population and the government. However, this new era of peace is threatened by the mysterious Organisation "VAPE", calling the Gatchaman to action once more, including a new member, the impulsive Tsubasa Misudachi, who becomes Hajime's new partner.

The series is quite fond of showing human greed and selfishness, Often throwing expo on how humans can't ever settle down for something, how two faced they can be, general silent shaming on todays generation of web freaks and people Blah blah~
But it does that quite well actually. Seemingly something most people ignore from the anime is how it actually has good morals "lessons?" that can hit deep. Human emotions and stereotypical beliefs and such come in to play, and the un acceptance of things along with more bull honkey around aliens and also politics come into play around the second season. And Have you ever wondered why they don't just do a certain thing in many hero anime (Didn't they have Google? Why didn't they use their cellphone?). Gatchaman Crowds tries to tackle these issues. It prefers conflict resolution in the way of changing people themselves, instead of having the main characters power up to beat the final boss.
The anime is filled with vibrant bright colours, and the animation and art style are smooth and on point. Thanks to that the characters are actually memorable and they stand out. The openings and endings for both seasons deserve plenty of love, as they are equally as smooth and colorful and Hey! that gibberish is catchy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this anime mainly because of Hajime. When You are first introduced to her she seems like an overly enthusiastic, weird, ignorant and sense lacking character whom you may become annoyed of. But later on as the story goes on, Hajime's enthusiasm and generally different take on the world becomes interesting, She becomes interesting, she has by far the most influence on the story and as said earlier, the characters. By the end of the first season she in a way changed everyone she would have met by then. Pushing them towards a likely common saying here "The world isn't as bad as you think" and "It isn't that hard to just help someone"
The way she can just swap their mind set like that is fairly amusing.
But most of you pricks stood with the first image anyways.

The anime has a good execution on the morals it works it's ass off to portray. And mainly focuses on that. So if you don't get 99% breath taking fight scenes don't be surprised. The fights them selves also lead to either development of character or moral. It's morals on the other hand are seemingly similar to ours but also quite different. If this anime didn't leave you pondering on society for even a second something be wrong with ya.
Also there is Loli for the pervs so alls well~

There was a Gatchaman Crowds thread actually, but it's a piece of shit so I vote we make this the official new one.

Series rules. Insight in particular; loved the sociopolitical commentary. Also Kenji Nakamura's recent directorial work is great.

>>2 I knew about that. I obviously made sure there wasn't an existing thread for Gatchaman Crowds. I was surprised that no one since, thought of making a new one. But hey, just like you wished. The insight Op was once again by Whit Ash.

Insight is seemingly better. Though I wouldn't know that well, as my wifi is too shitty to allow me to watch anything there fore I Still haven't finished Insight. I'm not too familiar with Kenji's directional work, but he did a great job on Gatchaman Crowds.

I really love gatchaman. I haven't seen Insight yet, but I'm sure it's awesome as the first one. I also haven't seen Science Ninja Team Gachaman, cause I thought it was like live action like Power Rangers or something, but I'll try searching it.

Gatchaman Crowds have really unique animation, or its just me. It has similar feeling as K project, I don't know, it's been awhile seen I last seen it. Anyway I was really moved that part when Hajime turned off her phone or something, when people are criticizing them. I really need to rewatch it before starting Insight. Ohh well..

I've just been going through both seasons; really like how it can maintain a vibrant feel through music throughout it's battles. Reminds me of Kyousougiga. This tune in particular: https://youtu.be/pJ0I9LQ2EOA

I will agree; the animation does somehow feel unique. Insight does appear to be more serious in tone so far, best finish it up.
