Black Jack is back!! And he's back with more illegal surgeries. Ok, not illegal, since he does have a license in this season but he's an intern.

Based on the brilliant maverick doctor created by manga pioneer Osamu Tezuka. This prequel follows Black Jack when he was still a medical student in the 1960s.
The art style really did change significantly comparing from Black Jack (manga), Black Jack (TV), Black Jack 21, and it's movies. The movie actually have a different art style, since a different company is working on it. And the interesting thing about the manga, Pinoco wasn't shown much with Black Jack and his travelling. Neither was the side characters have been introduced and shown much. They were shown but not as Black Jack's friends but as patients. The story was completely focused on Black Jack. It was after the anime has been adapted that the author decides to let Pinoco show up more.

I'm trying to promote this anime but we all know that the change in art made it more like Shounen Ai. The plot is good, its just that it seriously went bad. What is wrong with these animators? Can we get a little justice for this? I mean he's like my idol. Why do you make it look like yaoi? Its not like I hate yaoi, but seriously the older version looks more appealing than the current one.

That guy got blown into pieces by a bomb. A doctor reattached his limbs and stuff, but not all things recovered. His stomach is weak. Took him years for rehabilitaion. It was basically impossible for him to survive. The hair are just after effects of his recovery.

That was without a doubt the absolute wrong Art-shift for this anime.It looks more like a parody anime doing it's thing and really out of place XD. The art is "nice" in a way but just...Eh
It just looks like a blatant Shounen-Ai of a sort now.
(On the plus side, He's kinda cute...I guess?)

Art style aside. The anime is awesome! Its underrated, maybe because of obviously alot of good anime this season but this anime promotes problems in the society and are based on actual events like the vietnam war. You'll also learn facts like the first heart transplant happened in South Africa. This anime is very educational. If you guys don't see the beauty of it, then its your lose.
