I want to talk to you guys about the mind breaking, complex (not in the doesn't-make-sense way) and mentally disturbing anime. I have lost most of my passion for anime (thats kind of a redundant statement on the Dollars website haha) but I love anything that completely shocks you.

My top two mind blowing anime ever so far would be:

Psycho-Pass: Though the characters were not perfect it had me hooked from the first episode and I had no Idea what to expect. I am a sucker for evil guys and Makishima Shogo is amazing. I hated him but then I balled my eyes out for him? wtf.

Monster; Now I have watched up to...episode ten? and it is probably the best thing I have ever watched. No further comment.

So what are your thoughts? What blew your mind? Do you have any reccomendations?

(This isn't necessarily about gorey shock factor but plot shock factor too!)
