I find myself annoyed with the majority of female anime characters for multiple reasons, so I'm interested in your guys' response. List a character that you dislike, and explain why. Whether the reasons are because of personality flaws, poor character design, weak fighting abilities or just because she's ruining your favorite pairing, include them below. If you have multiple characters or reasons, feel free to rant about them :)

Yuki Cross, Vampire Knight. As I explained in another thread, all she does is whine and complain when she has every advantage. I'm told it's not so bad in the manga, but still. Yuki is something of a perfect pawn type character, and the only reason I find her so irritating is she is nominally the protagonist.

Shiba Miyuki, the brother complex is strong with this one... too strong. I found that her saying nii-sama every 10seconds made me want to close the tab yet somehow i made it through the whole season. It was only that one bit i hated about her.

Nah,definitely Koko is better than Linda. And for me Mio Nishizono from little busters is really annoying, since she doesn't really try to mingle with anyone and keeps complaining nobody notices her. ANNOYING!!!

Orihime from bleach. She's just so useless sure she can heal but her character just never really goes anywhere. Sakura from naruto is similar though not quite as bad.

I see no reason why this can't all go in the worst anime character thread.

Tsubaki Sawabe (Shigatsu wa Kimi no uso)

DEFINITELY Yui from Diabolik Lovers, I played both the visual novel and watched the anime, she's bad in both. Her actions make people think her as a slut, the way she doesn't resist when her blood is sucked, the way she ended up enjoying it...Ugh, I hate her.

Then there's Nanami from Uta no Prince, it's ridiculous how she can end up having all six guys falling for her. I understand it's a reverse harem anime, the visual novel is better and the anime sucks at combining all the individual story routes in the otome game, but still....It's gone too far.

First off: Touka from Tokyo Ghoul. I'm not saying she's a bad character - she just really pissed me off. NOBODY SLAPS KANEKI LIKE THAT. We all know she just loves him. Poor Kaneki turned gay after meeting the real Rize.

2. Misa from Death Note. FUCK. HER. "MISA-MISA LOOOOVE LIGHT-KUUUN~!" uuugh. Just the name will fuck your brain until death.

3. Yuka from Elfen Lied. I'm sorry but... DUDE. SHE'S HIS COUSIN. She annoys me for messing with Lucy in the first place (shhh details I know she didn't actually mess with her but shush don't mess with Yandere's)

4. Orihime from Bleach. DUDE. "Kurosaki-kun!" atleast one hundred times per episode that involves her. She's so dense she thought Ishida had a crush on Rukia! :(

5. Nina from Code Geass. Table-kun... poor table-kun...

6. Shinji from Evangelion. "I... CAN'T DO IT! THE BURDEN IS TOO MUUUCH! WHY ME?! *Goes emo mode* I won't do it! MOMMY!!!!!" I'm sorry Shinji, I'm afraid she's DEAD. Now you gotta deal with your dick of a father.

Ruri and Saki from Durarara!! Maybe it's because that they are with a character I DON'T want them to be with, like NO! I may like yaoi, but I still have some straight ships like Celty and Shinra. I see these two getting in the way of things. YOU DON'T GO WITH SOMEONE TO ANOTHER PLACE AND MISS SCHOOL. It's like she ruined HIS life. NO WAIT, SHE DID. Because of her, he can't get over it and now they're back together, ugh.

I also hate Gou from Free! Tbh, I get annoyed with girls who obsess over abs. It's like the annoying fangirls who don't care about the plot of Free! and only the fanservice. THE PLOT IS BEAUTIFUL, but when people just focus on the fanservice, I get pissed.

I really disliked Sakuno Ryuzaki from prince of tennis, her and the side line cheering characters really annoyed me. Whenever the team was in a competitive match they always yelled out what their special hit was an it was so annoying and unnecessary 😅 I don’t remember much of it because I haven’t seen it in 8 or 9 years but I’m pretty sure they were trying to make her be with Echizen Ryoma and that also annoyed me. Romance is unnecessary in this anime. Though this is all just my opinion. 😅

I don't like Misa Amane because all she does is saying "Light" all the time. it gets annoying and she really isn't as smart as the creator wanted her to be. she seems stupid and she forgets important things.

I understand why some people might hate me and to be honest, I only hated her during the first few episodes but Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket was actually really unlikable. I felt like she was just a doormat who could do no wrong. You can't just make me like someone in a show because they're this perfect angel who got put in this horrible situation. Her voice was also really annoying and I almost just completely turned off the show because of it.

But her character became bearable and actual kind of enjoyable. It was nice to see that a lot of her kindness came from things her mother taught her and it was also nice to see her interactions with Kyo, trying to make him a good person. It made me really like them both because they work so well together but MY GOD was she annoying in the beginning!
